TOPIC: After 5 procedures, my penis is where I want it :) last page Update 1/05/16

Part of the problem that I see here and in other health related forums is we as a collective community share our personal struggles and opinions in an attempt to connect with others that are in similar situations or to inform the community abroad. Before you judge, this is I mean: What we say and do, edits the opinions of others. A very anxious and worrisome individual may rush to conclusions and elect to have their PMMA removed. There is an innate problem with this, when making an informed decision vs a decision on pure impulse or suggestion there could be a larger long term ramification piled with regrets. We had a forum member who had his penis gloved in order to remove the PMMA all together, then after he has the PMMA removed, he made a comment that he was considering PMMA again. A patient of this caliber has made choices like this his own life and needs counseling instead of a super sized Cock. We all live with our choices, and there is a reason why in science we use large sample sizes in conducting research, because it does have an influence on the standard deviation of error. If we make a decision based upon what CHL did with his penis or what Restoration did with his, that would be extremely foolish, because CHL and Restoration maybe statistical outliers in the large sample size of PMMA clients. This is why I urge members to wait 6-12 months, maybe longer, because no one persons body or immune system is the same. Cheers

I will be waiting at least another year bc I don't even have the money for that type of operation. It's been 9 months since my last procedure so I think another year will give me a better idea. Then I can try another procedure, keep it as is and live depressed, or think about Removal. It so hard to stomach that I had an above average penis to start with and I let unfounded insecurities persuade me into this route.

Thats why the very least you need to voice your concern to Casavantes (not Wade) and suggest even a skype conference. Its not a requirement, but the fact that he would go above and beyond to help a patient dealing with insecurities as a result of pmma enhancement would speak volumes of his character and would indirectly boost his reputation. You can't afford to get depressed either jewdub, that is the most expensive risk, psychosomatic depression causes oxidative stress on your neurons and myocardium. You have support here, I know you can improve you're attitude. You are a valuable person, intelligent and worth something great, meditate & pray for peace in your and you'll find strength. Just don't hurt yourself or others around you with depression, we all experience long suffering brother.

Jewdub, are you still overseas? I think a consult with someone like Gelman or Alter would be worth your time / money - at least you can have a plan in place. My Urologist is great, but he really only did this as a favor to me since I was his patient for 5 years now... I'm not sure he'd be excited about me referring other people with this material, unless you lived right here I guess. He's taken out some kind of oil put in by people in asia... that's about it, though. I'm 99% sure he'd recommend a deglove with some kind of Removal...partial maybe.

If I were in your shoes, I'd deglove and ask the doc to dissect the problem nodules out - literally circling them with a surgical marker and then they'd go in there with dissecting scissors and work on them.

But that being said - yes, I agree CHL's point to wait and your opinion to wait can be okay too... I mean, it's a personal decision. I know that waiting worked after R 1 and R2, but after R3...it did not work. Maybe in 5 years the last lumps will be gone, but the body NEEDS to wall this stuff off.

I think I am definitely an outlier in so many ways. I got peyronie's at an absurdly young age with NO injury... I think someone put a curse on my Dick. Well, I had fun with it for a year. Now I have a frankenpenis... but in 6 mos the scars should fade.

If you have USA insurance, it may be covered as just penile lesions and penile wound closure...not sure.

Thanks for the encouragement fellas! I'll be waiting it out and trying to stay positive until I can get back to Dr. C for a in person consultation. My life must go on and things could be worse at this juncture so I'll be happy with the good things going on in my life. Cheers!

Well I have an update on my situation. I talked to Wade and Dr. C is willing to try and even things out and hopefully break up some clumps with the cannula. He is going to use 10% and the silicon drops. I'll be going in January which is about 14 months after my last procedure so things have had time to settle. I gave up on Dr. Cho because after 3 procedures and 7K, my penis should look better than this.. I really hope this will be the last time for awhile. I've spent way more money than I actually have. Basically a down payment I could use for a house.. It will be worth if it gets corrected.

Also, I have been applying a 90% DMSO gel on my penis at night. I just rub it everywhere. It's only been a week, but I swear things fill softer and better overall.

Here are my pictures as of now. Ignore the bag I used that to apply the DMSO instead of my hand. Then I read that DMSO can eat through that it put the bad chemicals through my skin!

You need to move up to 2 or 3 times per day. It seems that virtually everyone who does DMSO notices the difference early on but it takes a while to accept it's working.

Are you mixing the DMSO with anything?

No it's a 90% gel and it is 10% filler/water .. What do you recommend to mix with it? I'm trying to be cautious since it can take anything I mix it with into the blood.

I mixed mainly with Iodine. I also used apple cider vinegar for a little while. Though I'm not sure they did anything. I thinks its the DMSO that makes the difference.

Idk about you but part of my problem was I was not specific enough with Dr. C about where the PMMA needed to go. I mostly spoke to wade even when Dr.C was right there!!
Makes sure you tell him EXACTLY where it needs work and go back the next 3 days for a follow up.

That's good the DMSO is starting to do something. I felt a slightly strange softening at 1-2 weeks. I say "strange" because I had a cannula/saline break-up procedure, Kenalog, 5-fu, and all of these did nothing. So, feeling a softening was like... wtf...really? Am I crazy? Who is this Hoddle person with these magic potions?

I am 45 days after I started DMSO, and I tapered down from 3x a day to 1x a day or just none at all (I think it triggers the body to reduce the inflammation so maybe every day isn't necessary after a while - and the skin can get red). You can read about it in the thread "why do fat grafts harden (and DMSO discussion)". Red1975 posted his (very rapid) results there too. I'd say that I only have pin-point hardness now. So, where I had "islands" or clumps of hard PMMA, they're sort of feeling covered by a soft layer (or they just softened themselves, I don't think the DMSO gave me Girth). Where I had small BB sized lumps, the DMSO had a harder time, but maybe I got 20% effect there. I'd say it's 50-60% better now. My penile skin is also very smooth - almost like plastic - it's very different. This may be from the oils...not sure.

You and I have the exact same gap at the base (on the lower right in your pic). Mine is on the other side - but the same weird thing. What do you think is going on there? In my case, I have a Nodule of PMMA in the "turkey neck" area of my Balls...so the PMMA literally slipped down from the side of the shaft into that crevice. Almost every guy has a thicker base and a taper, but we both have gaps there...I can't understand it.

You might want to stop the DMSO 2-3 weeks before Dr. C because I think it might have some lasting effects... not sure. I just noticed in my week off, it still was softening.

I'm 80% normal these days (the scar isn't that bad) - and it feels much better. I am not sure if anything can get rid of the BB lumps at this point, but they're better than the big ridge/island/blob lumps.

I hope this last procedure with Dr. C helps, but if you read my Nodule info thread, you'll see that some of this stuff just (probably) can't be broken up w/ a cannula. What was taken out of me were rock solid lumps (at 9 weeks...and what is left at 7 months feels identical). So, maybe it can be broken and spread more evenly within the shaft...but I guess you wont know until they try it. I doubt Kenalog will do much, from my experience...haven't really heard much on here about others using Kenalog.

Maybe Dr. C will excise some of them, but I'd be very hesitant to let anyone open up your penis just given my wound healing issues. They have to suture the hell out of any opening because PMMA tissue interferes with wound closure.

@Hoddle - what kind of iodine? The iodine that I saw always had tons of fillers in it and was only a small % iodine. For example, this one. I'd be curious to switch it up with iodine just to see what would happen, but it has a lot of unknown chemicals in there.

The gap at the base is because Dr. Cho thinks that a wider base is unnatural so he wouldn't put any there... There maybe a minor amount there from my first procedure with Dr. C. I'm going to go back to Dr. C and let him try his best. I do believe that some hard spots won't be able to be broken up and Wade already told me that. It's because it's been a year and the fibrotic tissue in too dense now. I hoping to hide as best as possible. ven if I just get an even base or one that is a smidge bigger than midshaft I will be happy. Then use the micro drops to place in some of the dented areas. I know it's not going to be perfect as some peoples outcomes but I know it can bet better than now.

I will definitely stay for at least two days after the op so I can come in for aftercare. This will be my fifth procedure and just want to move on with life so bad. I will continue to use the DMSO at night. I don't want to use it more than once a day. I'm waiting to hear back from Wade to see what they think about DMSO. Thanks for the encouragement. Sounds like a good plan to me. And, your expectations are agreed upon with Wade which is also good. I hope it all works out. I am really curious if they're able to soften things and make them more natural. I'm not sure if they'd see me again (things didn't end well) but my penis looks odd with those gaps. I don't think I want to go back there, though.. I don't know. I guess I can just live with it... I guess...
