It all depends on what sort of guy he is, if he's really trustworthy then maybe it's a good idea.

I think it depends on whether you really know the person. My wife understand and approve so it doesnt bother her, but there are people who cant understand it or dont want too so its just on whether u believe they can handle it.

My experience so far has been it doesn't matter how much trust there is between you and your partner , if they're not a good person they'll almost always use that against you maybe some way along your relationship or most definitely when you guys break up.

Funny, when I was younger it was a much bigger deal to keep it a secret. I don't care so much anymore and a good amount of people know. Because I don't care so much about the secret I actually feel more dishonest as before I never felt I had to justify keeping it to myself.
