TOPIC: Airport Security / TSA Body Scanner Experiences?

Mauve different scanners in Europe and America? I've never had a glance.

I get stopped every time, too.

Flied from several Airports in Europe and some in the US and not put aside. Only had one round of 10% PMMA so perhaps it is not dense enough to get caught? Is it a correlation between how much and type of PMMA? Had 15cc of Metacrill and stopped once, but that was due to my arm and neither I or the person checking was sure why.

For those who do get stopped, what do you say?

Just tell it like it is?

No, I don't think so at all

Yeah, I get pulled aside every time and hand scanned. Then they let me go. Not a word is said from either side...

I have had 3 rounds of PPMA and have never gotten a second glance from TSA

Almost every time I go through the body scanner, I get a check. A yellow X appears over your crotch area on the X-ray. It's a hassle and can be embarrassing when traveling with others.

Could buy underwear that have metal buttons on the fly and blame them for setting of the scanners.

But would be very suspicious of somebody having had a procedure with something unatural if the crotch area was setting of the security scanners in airport.

Well if you have a lot of PMMA it will show up as it is plastic. A Silicon implant would too.

I would say a fat transfer won't as it is a natral material.

You don't have to say a thing.
They just say "I've got to pat you down." Then they do a real quick pat down to make sure you aren't carrying a weapon (insert joke here), swab your hands for explosives and you are on your way.

I have recently begun exploring the world of PE and been reading about various augmentation procedures. I found this forum and I'm so thankful for the wealth of knowledge and experience that you guys have put out to educate/warn others.

One question I have seems to have been mentioned sporadically on some posts but not in a comprehensive manner, and that is whether or not TSA body scanners pick up on Penile Implants and fillers?

I travel several times a month both domestically and internationally for work, often times with colleagues, so for me this would be a major consideration,

I know many of you have had various kinds of fillers/injections (PMMA etc), so I was wondering what your specific experiences have been? Also, several of you have had implants that you ended up taking out due to complications, like the Elist implant, but while you did have them, what was the experience at the airport?

I guess I'm wondering how frequently are things picked up on and once they are, how is it handled.
