I've been thinking about the outcomes of a potential decision to get PMMA and trying to work out how happy I will be if the outcome is less than aesthetically ideal. I know a lot of people have gotten bumps, lumps and nodules but still insist that they are happy with the results and that current partners haven't been able to tell something was up. I currently have had two rounds of HA and it is the same for me there is some unusual shaping if I inspect closely but no woman has been able to tell so far. I am wondering how much our body dysmorphia effects our ability to truly look at our dicks and be objective about the outcome. PMMA is a decision that can only really be made based on other peoples experiences and so for me its vitally important that I understand the minds of those that have had it to truly work out if a good outcome for them will be the same as a good outcome for me. There is only soo much you can see from someone's picture and you of course can't feel it which potentially is where the give away will be.

Now I am going on the rule that If I get PMMA I can likely expect it to be not as aesthetically pleasing as the HA currently is and I am trying to work out whether or not I might regret this decision if my Cock ends up with too many lumps and uneven areas. I'm trying to work out if the majority of people on here are so obsessed with size and have severe body dysmorphia to actually take their opinions of their results as objective ones. I know PMMA results vary massively but what are peoples thoughts on this? I too obviously suffer from penis dysmorphia so please don't take this post as an insult.

I am wondering if a so called "normal' person read these accounts and looked at our pictures that they wouldn't think we were all crazy and our penises now looked grossly uneven and their conclusion was that PMMA was a terrible idea. Are we all stuck in a body dysmorphia echo chamber in here?

Now in response to the original question, I think that with it being attached to us, we may be a little more critical of the outcome than a third party.
Yes, you should strive for the most natural outcome, but you should also understand that there will probably be some aesthetic issues that will need to be addressed.
One of the saving graces is that dicks come in all shapes and sizes and unless something looks really out of place, you will probably be good.
But, always expect to need a touch up round, at least with PMMA.

We are about to submit an article for publication on the psychological reasons for having injectable Phalloplasty and the psychological results post treatment. The results follow what we had on our poster publication a month ago.

I don't think it is a 'rule' that HA results are better than PMMA. I have seen plenty of great PMMA results. I just fundamentally am more comfortable with a temporary treatment than permanent. For guys who are more in the penile dysmorphia category significant nodules etc could be a significant issue. But our patients are happy with their results and I think it is a safe treatment so happy to keep promoting and researching it.

In my case, being gay and having a lot of sex since my 5th and last procedure, I would say I have had sex about 50-60 times in the last 10 months with about 15-20 different guys, and only gotten tons of compliments. Assume a gay guy is going to know his way around a Dick. Mine has been in a lot of faces, I've gotten a lot of blowjobs and fucked a lot of guys. Every guy I have had sex with except one has kept coming back multiple time and I lost track of the compliments. Almost all these guys have been very horny 20 somethings. At first, when I had sex I was looking at them, looking at my Dick, wondering what they were thinking and could they tell. The answer is definitely not in my case. I don't sweat it anymore.

The answer to your question though, is it all depends. I went 5 times but only had 2 full rounds, and 3 smaller rounds that were a combination of Silikon and PMMA 10%. Total gain 1.5" (currently my Girth is 6.5"). I am really happy and very glad I did it - short of unforeseen issues down the road - I have no regrets. I think you just have to figure out how important aesthetics are to you and it informs the way you go. I spent more than I had but thought this was the one area I was not going to save on.

(I have 1 small Nodule no one has ever noticed and one small area that is softer than the rest where Dr. C used more Silikon as I had the most scar tissue as PMMA would not take. I will go back probably at some point just for those 2 little things but it is not something I dwell on).

No - Erect my Dick looks completely natural - Flaccid it can look completely natural or kind of bunched up and thicker than it should be and I can definitely tell it's from PMMA but that is not on anyone else's radar. If someone does suspect they have not let on to me yet, but I honestly don't get that vibe from anyone. It has also relaxed a lot more since my last pics which where a few months after my last proceedure I should repost at some point.

Looking at this now I can tell that I have had PMMA just because I know what an enhanced Dick looks like (I think I do at least), I have had at least 5 "before" dicks so I can't compare to what I was before, I would literally have to pick a look and I don't remember what my natural Dick looked like 20+ years ago. It was natural for a while after the grafts were removed but that is no where what it looked like before I ever had anything done. I can say that this Dick has made a lot of people happy and no one has ever hinted about cosmetic work. I am super satisfied. Earlier, I had a few people ask about the dark spots which were much worse, as they have lessened - I'm probably looking at 9 more months before they go, no one has asked about that either.
My favorite was the grafts because I was younger and more innocent and never thought they were going to die so I forgot about it all and lived my life. It also looked better hard, soft, cold outside etc - pretty much stayed consistent. After that, PMMA is definitely my second choice and I am not sure there is a 3rd option on the list for me. I am really satisfied. I may fly down to TJ with a PB member in January for something super minor. I have the miles and the other guy wants to get a full first round so I think it would be funny to go together. I could easily not go and not fuck with things and leave it all alone - which I may do. All this is said with full awareness that 5,10, 20 years I may have unforeseen issues. It has happened before.
