There is already a post about this. Yes, some of us are stopped, including me every time. The scanner that spins around you can pick up anomalies. The density of PMMA and the collagen build up is not natural, thus the scanner picks it up.

Hi Hulk,
Just a thought about how to improve the participation on the site ' maybe not bash a first-time/new commenter? It's hard/embarrassing for many to share or participate, so it helps when a old pro like you makes it easier.

Side note: Thank you for your story, it was one of the reasons I joined this site and undertook this path.

Hi everybody. Scheduled for Dr. C in two weeks and had a rather odd question. Does PMMA show when you're getting scanned at the airport?

Got stopped both ways on my flight in and out of The States 3 weeks ago. A big yellow X near the groin area appears on the x-ray machine.
The TSA agent then asks you if you want a private pat down...I declined (both times)....He then went on and thoroughly patted me down (especially near private area).
It's a little embarrassing but there are worse things....
