TOPIC: PMMA questions

Hey mate, I can answer most of the questions ( note i don't have PMMA, this is just based on all i have read)

Q1. On Dr C's website, he says it is advisable to wait at least 1 week before sex/masturbation (maybe wait a little longer to be extra safe, another day or 2)

Q2. Yes, the results of PMMA are permanent. The carrier that the PMMA micro-beads are suspended in will dissipate and be replaced by your own collagen tissue which will surround the micro beads. The gains you have after the swelling has gone down are there for life.

Q3. Some people do lose some Erect length, it is usually about .25 - .5''. Almost all of these cases are temporary. Most people think it is due to the collagen 'holding back' some of the penis. The best way to prevent if from happening in the first place is to keep your penis extended after the procedure with an All Day Stretcher (ADS) or extender (if your penis can fit through the base). I would say the BEST thing to do is to keep it extended for the whole 6 week recovery ( during the 6 weeks is when most of the collagen growth occurs). The most important thing is to not let your penis shrivel up. (others can chime in on what they did if they lost length)

Q4. There are 4 PMMA doctors. Dr Cassaventes (lots of experience, lots of progress reports), Dr. Cho (lots of experience, been doing it before Dr Cassaventes. Dr Cho is in South Korea. Only 1 progress report on his Girth procedure, it was positive nonetheless), Dr Camacho-melo (No progress reports on here...), Dr Nemeckova (a few progress reports, one of them was NOT good). The best doctor to go to is Dr Cassaventes (and Dr Cho second).

Q5. Sorry, I haven't read much about the prices (as i don't plan on PMMA for some time, so i never really checked)

Q6. Pretty much anyone can get it. But here is something from Dr C's site: " PMMA implants are not recommended for patients with severe hypospadias (meatus opening anywhere along the ventral face of the shaft)." But that is pretty much a rare condition, i doubt anyone here would have that.

Q7. Any type of stretching can still be done ( Manual stretching, extending, Hanging, ADS ) as this doesn't affect the PMMA. Clamping can still be done as Clamping is an internal force exercise. Pumping is not reccomended as the vacuum force can migrate the PMMA (but I have read of a few guys who still do pump with no negative effects). Jelqing is not reccomended as the force can cause the PMMA to move around (since Jelqing is quite a high and repetative force on the penis, don't worry about masturbation or sex causing the same unwanted effects)

Q8. this is from Dr C's website, it is actually referring to Peyronies, but the same goes for your question (since we are talking about scar tissue): "Peyronie disease is a connective tissue disorder involving the growth of fibrous plaques in the soft tissue of the penis affecting 5% of men. Scar tissue affects mostly the tunica albuginea (a thick sheath of tissue surrounding the corpora cavernosa) causing pain, abnormal curvature, erectile dysfunction, indentation, loss of Girth and shortening. Most patients with stable Peyronie's disease can safely get PMMA implants." If someone with Peyronies can get PMMA, then you can too (as someone with Peyronies would have much more scar tissue than the amount of scar tissue caused by PE ). So, yes you can still get PMMA with scartissue.

Oops, yes I was talking about Vac Hanging ( with an LG Hanger ), I forgo about the compression hangers like the Bib. You are right about the Clamping.

I liked the old better too. The borders of all the countries behind the boxes just looks strange...hard to describe. Looks like uneven PMMA distribution. lol.

How about any new gent who has these lengthy questions makes a donation to the website, then a senior member or mod can address each question. Time is valuable and any man who doesn't value their time is absent minded or a fool, and I've been a guilty absent minded fool on more than one occasion responding to a woman's stupid question. The board can see this Q&A opportunity to fund the forum so that PhalloBoards can land a 3rd gen of existence. Btw i'm not color blind but this color scheme of white versus blue is causing me to go nuts, I have a headache just starring at the new forum setup. This is probably just me but i despise it. Cheers

Ammendment to Tom Kat's Q7 ... personally I wouldn't hang or clamp after PMMA. You are still squeezing over PMMA tissue and I wouldn't recommend that... Unless you are talking Vac Hanging, but even then, I'd still personally not want to do that.

I'm sticking clear of PMMA for now maybe in the future I'll do it but for now it's not for me

You certainly have to be prepared to take the good with the bad with PMMA or any procedure. There are no guarantees on the outcome, no matter how skilled the doctor. However, there are definitely ways to lessen the chance of a dissatisfactory outcome. The first is that you have to be realistic in the outcome. Second is aftercare. This is as important as anything, with any procedure. With PMMA, you should also keep in mind that it usually takes multiple rounds to achieve your goals, both with size and aesthetics. Certainly do not want to sway anyone away from getting PMMA, if you want it, but want to make sure you understand that it is a process. You can achieve phenomenal results with it. It is all part of risk vs reward.

We desperately need a FAQs thread.

These types of questions are asked too frequently recently for it to simply be a case of members being too lazy to research.

I think we need a sticky thread where guys can ask questions and the most common can form a FAQ's in the first post of the thread.

Aftercare is the most irritating part - but super important. Wade will help you with the process, and some people find it more annoying than others. I seem to always leak forever from the entry points, and it's just really uncomfortable to have that going on...and try to massage...and then stretch...and the pray that it won't turn out bad, even despite all the work you do.

Since you have to keep the penis extended adter a PMMA session has anyone used the Phallosan Forte? It looks comfortable and you can wear it at night and for long periods.
