TOPIC: Pmma nodule removed

I removed one big PMMA Nodule .. its been 17 days but wound wont close .. tomorrow im going to another Urologist… do u think this can be stiched back or i should leave it like that .. i really dont know what to do .


I need your advices and experience.. i dont want to have big scar ..

No , of course with surgeon.. im happy that he removed it but now under it is hard and formed granula .. i hope it disappears.. i had PMMA also injected inside the skin there not under but insise and it was looking uneven so i told him to hit it out .. its been 17 days and the wound is not closing …im worried for the scarring and what should i do really… im thinking to make the surgeon to stitch it back but i went to one Urologist that is not surgeion and dont know about PMMA and he told me .. even if i close it it will open again and that all that granula and material need to be cutted off and that if its not closing its probably infected underneath… i hope he is wrong… i dont think i have infection but who knows


Now i putted some DMSO and emu oil … idk really what to do with that thing .. removing PMMA is so complicated….

Ok. Stay the fuck away from dmso and emu oil, none of these things are anti bacterial. If you’re going to put anything on/near bacitracin , triple antibiotic etc. after carefully cleaning the area. Some wound need to stay open and heal from the inside out , however this is epidermis only so probably could be closed. However suturing a circular wound is more likely to cause a puckered scar as there is no “seam” to suture and a purse stitch will still scar. Clean, sterilize and cover with small hydro colloidal bandage , monitor for heat/discomfort, while it closes together.

This isn’t a standard cut or puncture where all the basic material is still there, this is a punch out of material, and that takes longer to heal.

While not a Doc, or PA, I was trained it wound care, and field trauma care, and have recent experience in long term wound recovery ( not me).

Perhaps others that have had a punch out of PMMA can chime in.

emu oil and dmso are anti inflammatory…

i read they do help in wound healing i dont know …


About being stitched back.. you think its bad idea ? Yes is circle like but .. it shouldn’t be a problem its small one

They're not anti bacterial... Do you want it to get infected?

Injuries like this heal by secondary intention. Basically they granulate in. Think of road rash, and how long it takes to heal. It has to granulated in. For this reason, only put bacitracin on the wound. Also, keep would out of dirty water, sea water pool water. Finally, a moist wound heals more quickly than a dry wound. Keep moist with bacitracin, keep clean and covered. It will take time, but it will heal.

Who did your original PMMA injections and who was the surgeon who removed the Nodule? This will be helpful for the forum.

25 y old and my life was ruined by PMMA. I dont recommend this thing to anyone im trying already 7 years to remove that thing put of me. I had so many Surgeries im lucky my Dick still looks good .. but yea…. Please tell me that this hard granula under is gonna go away .. im so worried about that.

I believe his original PMMA injector was Dr. Nemechkova, who early on had mixed reviews which became increasingly negative. She's no longer recommended (and hardly discussed) on the site anymore, but I believe she worked out of Prague. If you are 25 now, that would have made you 18 when you got your procedure. Granted, you're presumably a legal adult in your hometown but I believe Dr. N should have never taken a patient so young. Many Clinics now won't offer penis enlargement to adult males that are that young, or at the very least, will have serious consultations and considerations (like psychological analysis) before moving forward. Trust me, I get it. At 18, I would have done anything in my young adult mind to acquire some of the enhanced penises that are shown on this site, and at that age, you can only afford to go to 2nd tier options. Really just a consequence of misfortune really.

I can't recall who removed his nodules if he did state it elsewhere, perhaps anon98 will answer that in a subsequent response.

I very much sympathize with you @anon98 , and wish you a speedy recovery. I totally understand your reasons (justifiably so) of dismissing PMMA outright, but I would say in retrospect your case is a strong reminder of two realities: (1) having the right Doctor is crucial and (2) no procedure is without risk (even in light of having selected a better Doctor) -- there will always be a small percentage of men who experience anomalies in all cosmetic procedures. Some risk thresholds are more tolerable than others.

I had a "road rash" like scar on my arm and it looked worse than your wound. Took some time to heal, but ultimately healed. From what I've gathered in the past, it's usually alarming if the healing doesn't improve (even incrementally) week-by-week, if there is any persistent redness/soreness/pain, recurring pus or bleeding 17 days+ out (as you say you are), or widening/growth of the wound. From what you described, I wouldn't be alarmed and would wait on your Doctor's opinion.

You said you are seeing your Urologist (presumably today) -- please update us and let us know his prognosis.

I would add collagen peptides, vitamin-c and e to your daily intake NOT on the wound . Your body needs the right building blocks to heal, and the body will heal at different rates depending how much base material it’s got and how big an area it has to heal, and how many “layers” it needs to build.

For example an area the size of you hand (;call it a 6” circle) where tissue is removed down to most of the fat layer of the epidermis on an extremity , might close 90% at a steady pace in 4-6 months with plenty of base material to work with. It has to remodel a LOT of layers and area. Think really bad road rash or burns. Downside is even with plenty of base material, the Body does get exhausted , so that last 10% “silver dollar” sized may take up to a year total time from injury to close. This is made worse if it is in a mobile area of an extremity.




Thankfully in your case , while in a mobile area, it’s a MUCH smaller wound. Keep it clean, use antibiotic cream on site, monitor and let it close. If available in your area a basic broad spectrum oral antibiotic may be in order. Our “battle packs” included a broad spectrum antibiotic , a non steroidal anti inflammatory , and a few Tylenol . While this was an intervention designed for the pre-hospital environment , it was still good practice.

I just wanna say i had several times great stress of 'this ruined me now forever' and it was never the case (one time fluid-swelling that went away after 6 weeks or something, pain while pressing or sex that went away after like 6 weeks, icing away std warts that left mark, cauterisation against entry point nodules left mark)

These were entry-point nodules?
Nodules were removed by method of punch-excision?

Sounds like you are very prone to catastrophising. If you Dick looks halfway normal and isn't causing pain, it doesn't justify the level of concern.
