TOPIC: Girthyplease Avanti Derma

Well, I did it. After backing out the first time, I did some more research and decided to reschedule.

Starting stats
~6.5 BPEL (~6 nbp) x ~6 mseg

Day 0

Flew in, used the avanti shuttle service to the Grand. Had a couple hours to so I went and got some food and located the avanti office. Arrived for my appointment, paid for the shuttle, and filled out the paperwork. I ate a couple granola bars to ease the knots in my stomach. I got in the robe and sat in the dentist chair. Dr. M came in and I got to talk to her for the first time. I told her I wanted a very conservative enhancement, and I didn’t really have a size target, just a natural looking outcome. I asked her how she felt about using all 10% throughout, and she felt that would be perfect for my goal.

She drew the blood for the PRP, Ian sanitized my groin, and then Dr. M came back to administer the Licocaine. The shots do sting, but it really wasn’t terrible. I think about 6 shots?

Then the PMMA started. It was really pretty chill, Ian and Dr. M worked closely together to place the filler in areas they felt needed it. In the end she used I believe 18 cc’s of 10% PMMA.

Then Ian wrapped me up, gave me a goody bag of aftercare stuff, gave me massaging instructions for the evening, and told me to come back the next morning for my first aftercare appt.

Day 1 post op

I’m just going to say it now, Ian gets my vote for MVP of this whole procedure. I was so lost about what was PMMA and what was just swelling.

First follow up went well, massaged it for like 10 seconds, Ian said it looks good and to keep checking it and massaging every few hours.

I saw him twice more that day, it was starting to swell by the 3rd session, but he said it wasn’t bad.

I pretty much stayed in the stretcher the entire time I was in TJ. Even walking around to get food and stuff, I wore sweatpants and just let it hang down one of the pant holes. I wrapped up the metal ball bag tightly with the ace bandage wrap to keep it from making noise when I walked. At night I just let the weights hang off the side of the bed while I tried to sleep on my back.

Day 2 post op

Getting pretty swollen, Ian corrected my massaging and helped me feel what the PMMA feels like. He gave me some stronger anti inflammatory to reduce the swelling and wrapped it again. Told me to remove the wrap in 2 hours and massage it.

Day 3 post op

Getting back over the border took about 2.5 hours, so be prepared. I ate some ice cream while waiting in the traffic. Yum. I wrapped up before my flight took off to help with retraction and swelling. When I got home I unwrapped and it looked all lumpy and uneven from the journey. I was able to even it out pretty quickly though. The PMMA is still pretty malleable. I didn’t take a tape measure with me to TJ, so this was the first time I got to measure it. I was sitting at 6” Flaccid. I was also able to finally get somewhat of an Erection. By this time it was pretty swollen under the glans, and it measured 7.5” Erect there. Below that area it measured 7” with about a 75% Erection. I got a persistent pocket on the right side beneath my glans that swells way more than the left side. I also keep having to push product out from that area. The underside, near the glans, got really irritated and more swollen throughout the day. Took some meds and called it a night.

Day 4 post op

The swelling seemed to have subsided a good bit when I woke up. I got a decent Erection that looked much better than the day before. The Flaccid is still measuring 6” Girth and the Erect is just under 7” midshaft. The underneath area started to swell back up throughout the day, and I continued to massage that area to flatten any potential ridges and lumps.

I’m hoping this swelling comes down soon so I can see the true size. 7” Girth is way too much, hoping it ends up around 6.5.

Don't worry it'll go down. I personally found I had way more swelling from my first session than the second.

Great results. I think you’ll end up around 6.5” which was your goal and it looks even throughout, you prob won’t even need a touch-up round.

Well it’s been about 9 weeks since my procedure. It’s been quite the roller coaster. Second week, I started to get a couple small nodes in the circ scar area. Not noticeable visually, but could feel them if you dug around for them. I was still measuring around 6.5” mesg and the sex was incredible, so I was prepared to live with these (very minor) imperfections.

Around weeks 5 and 6, those nodes and almost all other imperfections really started to soften and blend away. It looked honestly flawless...too flawless. I was already down to just below 6.4 at that time, and I was hoping everything would stop changing at that point, as I was perfectly happy with how it looked. Well it’s now week 9 and I’m down to about 6.25 mseg, which means I’ve gained about 0.35”. Does anyone know for how long I can expect my gains to diminish? Is the collagen regrowth period already passed?

I guess I can make a final verdict now that 2 months have passed. I am overall 100% happy with the results. I wanted a conservative gain that looked completely natural and that’s exactly what I got. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Morales and Ian. If anyone else is on the fence about going through with this, do it. I do sometimes wonder if I should have been less conservative and gotten some extra Girth, but I guess it’s better to make smaller increases, and I could always go back for a half session or so if I really want to in the future.

they say 8 weeks but the final results are really likea couple months later

That's great @Girthyplease . I look forward to going through with it too. I did a videochat with Ian about a month ago in preparation for the procedure but I have to delay to the Fall, hopefully. I do want 2 sessions like you, and I think we have similar stats pre-procedure and I do aim to get to at least 6 - 6.5 inches girth (I'm currently 5.2 inches).

I'm curious - I had gotten a circumcision about 2 years ago but they didn't do a high-cut, like Avanti recommends and I noticed yours is kinda low-cut like mines. I worry about whether this will impact my goal outcome and also with retraction. Did you do anything specifically to make sure the PMMA didn't clump closer to your circ'd area?

Also, how much did you spend ballpark all-in? For tax purposes (have to pull out from 401K), I'd like to phase out the spending by doing one session this year, second session next year. I'm thinking $8K altogether but wanted to get a sense from you. I live about 3 hours from TJ so I plan to drive. But I will stay there.

That's great, you reporting about the loss of some girth. I think that can be expected. But I also know some guys on here have said that it also depends on your habits and that the size can vary, i.e. from stress, water/hydration, exercise, heat/cold, etc.

I wonder if those who have done it, continue to pump/jelq/edge to keep up their measurements?

My Circumcision cut was my biggest concern going into this procedure. They are able to inject a bit above (closer to glans) and taper it really well though. I just made sure to massage that area religiously. That area did end up developing a few nodes and hard ridges in weeks 2-3, but they completely went away by now. It really is completely natural looking and feeling, no way any partner would ever suspect a thing.

I didn’t really retract much before, and I would say I retract even less now.

I would budget 5k per visit. Maybe $500 less if you’re driving.

Did you do any of the “extra” add on for healing , glans etc or just the PMMA?

Yes I added the PRP shot. Not sure how much effect it had, but it was $300 extra, and I ended up with great aesthetic results, so I’d probably opt for it again.
