TOPIC: Dr. Elist testicle implants

For anyone interested, here's my Dr. Elist testicle implant story:
I got testicle implants in June '09 with Dr. Elist. I thought he was reasonable professional, but very little follow up on the surgery. However, the surgery went very well, the recovery went very well, and I've had no problems since. The implants are significantly harder than a natural testes, despite Dr. Elist's claim that they are slightly harder. Anyone handling my testicles knows immediately that something's amiss. I understand that Dr. E uses a softer implant now.
The implants are crescent shaped and "cup" the testes. However, the result is not a seamless ovate shape; you can see the unnatural shape through the thin scrotum. The implant does "incapsulate" a little bit over time, but the effect is not that significant.
All in all, I'm happy with the implants. I love the size and weight between my legs, and I'd definitely do it again.

Oh and by the way, TSA does pick up silicone implants. I was screened with one of the xray naked photos at the airport and pulled aside to a private examining room. The TSA officer was very professional and extremely careful to explain what he was about to do with a pat-down. It was very non-intrusive. He simply patted me down with the backs of his hands, but never touched my ass or genitals. He also scanned me for explosives residue.
I figured that the xray screener told the TSA officer what appeared suspicious on the image screen, so when we got to the private screening room, I immediately told him that I have silicone testicle implants. As far as he knew, I was a cancer survivor. But having told him that may have allayed his concerns and not inspect my crotch any closer. I know that a lot of people are offended by the invasion, but I'm not modest. I would have dropped my pants and underwear if he had asked me to. It just isn't an issue for me. But if that bothers you, you can opt out of the xray photo and just get the standard pat-down.
Finally, I went through the naked xray photo on a different occasion and wasn't pulled aside. I don't know if the screener was asleep on the job or if he just realized that I had silicone implants and let me pass through ...

Florida- Why have you decided to keep yours? Do they look normal in tight clothing- i.e.- swim trunks/ biking shorts/ running shorts, etc. ? You wanna know my goal? I have a nice Dick... kind of like a trophy. Have you ever seen a bowling trophy where it's just the frozen casting of a bowler? No. Every trophy has a base. I want a base for my 'trophy'. plain and simple, thats it. My Balls sag between my legs- I want them to support my unit without looking silly. Again, this all about maximizing the aesthetic; not only how it looks to someone else, but how it looks and feels to me. I've worn a 'prosthetic' testicle substitute (around the house) to see what it feels like... and I like it. That's all I'm goin for, a little more of a base. Thoughts? Anyone? I'm still going to pursue a conversation DR.C and the other DR C. (surgeon- sorry still don't know his name) to see if they can't come up with a more affordable and natural looking/feeling solution. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

anybody hear/ know about DR. Reed's implant? He charges 6000 and offers both soft silicone and saline filled sac. I wonder if those are available to be performed by Dr. Commancho? Sounds like it's a manufactured implant. Never heard anyone talk about his 'work' (Dr. Reed) or that implant. Anyone ?

I spoke with Dr. Reed about PE after I had the testicle implants by Dr. Elist. Dr. Reed will only give you a telephone consultation if you pay a $250 deposit (I believe it gets credited against any procedure that you have with him). I'm sure he was getting way too many "tire kickers" just wasting his time. He spoke with me for about an hour on the phone, was very patient, professional, and told me to call anytime, or, that the fee I paid also covered an in-office consultation.
I don't know what Dr. Reed's saline filled sac looks like, but I can't imagine that it holds any shape well. That would mean that you'd have double testes in each sac. The silicone ones that I have "cup" the natural testes to kind of approximate on overall ovate shape.

To respond to your questions Rondo, why would I remove them? Is there a health danger? And yes, they look normal in tight clothing. It just makes a nice big package. You can't tell that they're implants, even up close and naked, but if you feel them, they don't feel natural. Hope this helps.

Florida, I also received the same procedure from Dr. Elist. Everything 'Florida' has described is the same for me. When I asked about the hardness of the implant that I had been reading, he didn't answer. He had me pick up an example of the implant. On its own, it is very soft ' but don't let that fool you, once it is underneath skin, it feels much more firm than a normal testicle.
Question ' I'm having an issue where my skin is adhered to the implant beneath. Anything like that for you? Are your new Balls freely moving around in the sac?

TheEmperor- How long have you had the implants? what was your recovery time? Are you pleased overall, or considering Removal? Do you feel they move and behave 'naturally'? Have you had sperm count/testosterone levels checked prior/after? Allegedly this may be a concern..? I appreciate your reporting on your experience and sharing of any pics (preferrably frontal standing- to show what they look like when 'walking around') and explaining any complications. Regards,

In June of 2010 I decided to get the implants form Dr. Elist. The cost to me was $8500.
Everything Florida has said about how they feel and appear is accurate. My Balls are especially small, so there is a disparity between their sizes and that of the implant in which they rest. ( The implants butt up against the testicle because they are a concave shape. The sandwich together to create the appearance of one big ball. ) So, because of this, the silicone ball's edge is evident.
Their feeling is harder than a natural ball. The doctor will let you feel one in the hopes to convince you it will be soft. And, in your hand it is soft. In the sac, however, the difference is felt.
On my right ball the skin is adhered to the implant, which then lifts the ball upward and outward more than normal. It's annoying. I have been massaging the area in circular motions to try to break it free. I've done this in other areas to success. But it's been over a year.
Dr. Elist and staff no longer return emails after this was brought up.
Before the implants, my Balls were extremely small, like a prepubescent boy. Because of this, I am happy to have gotten them despite the complications. I can wear jeans now and have it appear to have a big package. This has released such a burden from me in my day to day life.
To answer Centurion's question, I haven't considered removing them because I don't want to go back down to my previous size and life. I look like I guy now, and not a woman wearing jeans.

To anyone who has had the implants: Can you tell me what Dr. Elist told you that you were supposed to do after the procedure?
I can only vaguely remember. For instance, he said to massage the Balls downward because after the surgery they want to go up, up, up.
He also mentioned a ball belt to me. Can anyone cooberate this? What were all the post-surgery orders?

I don't remember was the recommended post op procedures were - sorry.
Why does everyone ask about having the implants removed? I don't know why anyone would want to do that. Is there a danger in keeping them in?

The only real health risk I can think of is that they completely block a testicular self-exam. Someone mentioned possible sperm count issues, though I would consider a reduction there a plus.

I'm seriously considering getting the lengthening and Girth procedure with Dr Elist.He quoted me 11,500.00. Does that sound about to any of his patients.How many of you guys have been satisfied with his work?Thanks much!
