Of course "completely without risk" was obviously not what i meant, but less risks, such as necrosis, Foreign Body Granuloma, that have to be removed and can leave a completely unaesthetic penis. And even lifethreatening ones as Doctors state about pmma (linked in my signature&riskthread, reader who is not registered ; ) ), and as we have read about in at least one public practical case. lasercenter.posterous.com/plastic-surger...-beauty-queen-dies-a
(of course diffrent body region/amount, just as the example of the possibility)
Correction of my above saying: If only PMMA was safe enough to be FDA approved in the USA. So not every plastic surgeon or dermatologist would have to say to us "stay clear of it".
Still unclear how you could missinterpret my above post, but not worth discusing either to me.
peace

14 years 6 months ago #1272004688You don't need approval for off label use. There would be no advantage to the companies making these product to go through the expense of having the same product passed for uses in different areas. Getting FDA approval isn't cheap and off label use is perfectly legal. Also they had to change the carrier to make Artefil sufficiently different to other PMMA products in order to obtain a patent. Thus there was no point testing it elsewhere as the carrier isn't suitable.aestheticgirth wrote: not off lable (not for all body areas) such as butt or penis injection.

No there are will never be any treatment that is without risk (totally new news), but that doesnt mean that we have/should to take the PMMA risk (NewPlastic/Metacrill is meant here, thank you) now. Which of course has not been said like this.
When clearly all the Doctors are advising against any use of it.
It seems to me like hair-splittnig is beeing done here to defend the injections.
When only a forum user is not fully joining the cheerleading towards the procedure.

14 years 5 months ago #1272125874Everything going really well. Sitting around 5.75" Flaccid and 6" MSEG (6.5" at base), so up 0.5" as at same time after first procedure. Got some great comments and reactions - can't believe the difference from the beginning to now.
