TOPIC: My Elist implant experience to-date

@Miracle: I've asked my liason for reference material as to what they're calling "milking". I have no experience with manual PE, and will share what I'm told once that info is relayed. He said that a video on milking was soon to be posted on their website, and that the doctor has been asked how to milk by many new patients.

I also asked about the glans drooping, and he mentioned that this was the body compensating for the new weight of the implant. It's more of an asthetic issue than anything, as the Erect glans stands at attention.

@Volcano6509: Very strange, I specifically asked my liaison if there were corrective procedures for a drooping glans. He replied that there weren't. Unfortunately, there seems to exist an occasional lack of consistency between what they're telling different patients. When I next speak to the doctor directly, I'll inquire as to stitching the glans to make it upright.

I'm trying to defer all concerns while I'm wrapping, and try to see this as a long-term healing process. I figure the top concern will be regaining the 1" retracted Erection length down the road. After that, my next concern will be regaining full sensation on the top of the shaft. It seems to be gradually returning, and the liaison has said that this can take a varying amount of time for the nerves to go back to normal. I can probably tolerate a drooping glans when Flaccid, as long as the other issues are resolved. Fortunately, sex is not going to be an option possibly until the end of December after my wife heals from childbirth. I'm privately hoping for a C-section so that I can use my new Girth on a vagina not stretched by my baby's head!

bostonman, Glad to hear your continuing to heal. The wrapping is most important with having a successful outcome. I wouldn't concentrate on milking so much. I didn't milk because I was fearful of causing friction with the implant. Milking is for your skin and will not produce any length.
I had the drooping gland the first go around and have it now as well, this does improve by the third month.

Thanks so much CK. Good to know about the milking as well as the glans. Overall, how has your recovery been going? Has your swelling reduced?

How about the desensitized skin/glans? Was your glans and the top of your shaft numb? If so, at what point did that improve (and did it improve 100%)?

I am at officially 5 weeks with the implant in, having wrapped for week 1, unwrapped for the following 3 weeks due to skin lesions that needed to heal, and going on my 2nd week of resumed wrapping. I was told that after 4 weeks of resumed wrapping, I might be able to resume usage of my newly-fat friend. I'm unsure of the quality that my usage will promise, as my wife will have reached 39 weeks in her pregnancy. I suppose it could be used to induce labor at that point if called for, otherwise I'll settle for a nice blow job! I'm currently at a Starbucks, but later this weekend I promise to finally post some pictures. I'll post Flaccid (and Erect if I find the opportunity). I'm still numb on top of the shaft with 1 Inch Erect retraction, but am withholding expectations/judgement for another few months. Thanks to everybody here for your encouragement/advice/support. It means a lot!

Glad to hear things haven't appeared to worsen, and hopefully the remaining numbness will resolve in due time.
I'd highly recommend putting off any rigorous activity (so if it has to be a BJ, be sure it's a paced & easy one ) for as long as you experience any issues (i.e. numbness). I personally wouldn't engage in sex until I feel that everything has healed 100%, on top of having the green light from the doctor.

@SO: thank you for the encouragement and advice. I will definitely make sure that BJ is easy-going. It's unlikely I'm going to be able to resist it at the end of those 4 weeks. The semen has backed up into my brain!

@cjruiz21: Make sure your research extends to both the old version of this forum along with this forum. The negative experiences (notably Volcano6509, messageman, patrick, whitesnake) definitely outnumber the positive experiences (notably marknmau, ck62498 and regularguy) on these forums, but the candidness of this forum is what makes it a must-read. DO NOT go by MNS. It's a virtual web shrine to Dr. Elist that has no bearing on reality. Here is my honest assessment of the experience thus far:

Pros:
- Flaccid length is improved. At this point, it's increased from around 3 inches to 4.5 inches in length.
- Erection Girth is improved. At this point, my Girth is around 5.25 inches at the Foreskin, 5.5 inches mid-shaft and 6 inches at the base.
- My wife loves the look.
- My Dick noticeably stuffs my underwear, and even some pairs of pants.
- My confidence when being in the nude has already improved.

Cons (this should prove once and for all that I am no shill):
- The top of my shaft is mostly numb. I have been told by other implantees that this will subside after a few months. Other implantees such as Volcano6509 and messageman have reported this problem to have persisted even after removing the implant.
- My Erect length has retracted by 1 Inch (was 5.5 inches pre-op, and is now around 4.5 inches post-op). I'm reserving judgment on this as most members report the full Erect length returning after a few months. However, I recall reading about some members whose pre-op Erect length never returned.
- Dr. Elist's lack of forthrightness as far as complications. He likes to breeze right through them in the consultation, and act like any complications are universally applied to plastic surgery at large (as opposed to being specifically applied to his procedure).
- Dr. Elist's attempts to deflect blame for real complications occurring as a result of his procedure. With me, he attempted to blame herpes for lesions that were clearly NOT herpes (trust me, I know my herpes). It was an insult to my intelligence that he expected me to buy that horse crap, where I'm aware of what herpes outbreaks look/feel like. It was also unnecessary, because I wasn't looking for someone to blame. I simply wanted to know what I should be doing to fix the problem. It left me feeling like he cared more about protecting his reputation than doing his f***ing job. Professional? I think not.
- Dr. Elist's lack of consistency in methodology. If he did himself a favor and took this forum seriously (instead of relying on his forum of phony sycophants at MNS), he might have deduced that internally stitching the glans was the wrong way to go. Marknmau is the only complication-free implantee here, and he believes it to be due to his lack of internal stitching. I believe I had internal stitching (between the glans and a mesh to buffer the implant), as have most other implantees on this forum.

In summary, educate yourself as much as you can as to experiences of other implantees (deciding for yourself what is objective and what is not). I decided that this was the right procedure for me knowing full well what the pros and cons were, and stand by my decision. Dr. Elist has what I believe to be a good innovation, but definitely has some work to do in terms of his ethics and professionalism. Dem's my two cents.

Bostonman5555I will keep track of your experience and see if it went good for you, because I see a bunch of negative experiences here but I don't think that all of the patients have a negative outcome otherwise Dr. Elist would be out of business by now don't you think??

Elist wouldn't be out of business unless people were suing and I don't think they are or can because of the waivers they sign. He's had to change his implant procedure numerous times over the last decade and the Dr who is currently advising him says it still needs work, yet he carries on. He simply doesn't care about the damage he does and it seems his victims can't or aren't prepared to anything about it. I've had 2 enlargements go badly and I've never even considered taking legal action, so can't say I'm surprised nothing has been done about Elist. Gary Rheinchild operated for 15 years before he finally lost his medical licence and that was largely to do with a a negative mental appraisal and not due to the damage he caused. A similar thing happened with Sheldon Burman. It's amazing how these Dr's can go on damaging guys for years and little is done about it.

To be honest I find it amazing that anyone would even consider this procedure, unless perhaps they have a micro penis. I know there are some success stories, but surely the amount of horror stories are far too great to risk your penis! I think part of the problem is that we hardly talk about it anymore on here, as most opt for PMMA and we assume that the implant/Elist history is well known. There are probably alot of newbies coming along who aren't aware of what a poor track record the implant has and the shocking shady behaviour of Elist and MyNewSize over the years.

@hoddle10 - I concur entirely. He's still in business partly because too many implantees fear the exposure by taking him to court, as well as because of the waivers he has people sign. I'm unsure how much protection these waivers would give Elist if enough disgruntled former patients united in a class action lawsuit.

Don't get me wrong, as far as my experience is concerned the jury is still out. I would, however, like to see Elist stop treating everybody like we're a bunch of idiots (making pathetic excuses, lying in general, etc.). I would also like to see people like Casper be financially compensated for their dissatisfaction with the product as well as subsequent pain and suffering. Perhaps pigs will eventually fly....

Dont forget me Boston....I had my implant removed due to easy detectability of the implant and all its edges and ridges. Then suffered scar tissue formation of the shaft that acted like ligaments further shortening my penis.. Recently had the scar tissue removed and gained all my length back... Still healing from that surgery, so I have not posted pic or hung any weight for extra length. Cant wait for that...2 more weeks. Thanks
