The Grip - Progress/Experience Thread
15 years 13 hours ago #1269666997For those that do not know, the grip is recommended by doctors for use after lengthing surgery to help realize gains. I have not had lengthening surgery, but it is supposed to increase your length regardless. I guess it is supposed to make it easier if you get the ligs cut first.
Now, according to the website and from speaking on the phone with them, by using their system for six months, they say you will gain at least 1" in Erect length in six months. Actually, the man I spoke with on the phone said that if you are very persistant and consistant with the system, this increase could easily be seen in four months. Got my fingers crossed.
So, here are my starting stats:
Flaccid Length - between 5-6"
Flaccid Girth - 4.5"
Erect Length - 7"
Erect Girth (midshaft) - 5.75"
I began using the grip on 7/23. I have to say that it is a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. It is actually kind of addictive, which I think is a good thing. I say that because from what I have read, if you expect to gain anything from Hanging you have to hang for a minimum of 10 hours a week. They also suggest you use the other parts of the system, which basically provide a light tension, for an additional 6-8 hours a day!
I have kept a log of use including weight and time using the other parts of the system. I have managed to stay above the 10 hours needed and the additional 6 hours suggested.
There is a pulley system that provides one pound of tension. They said that some guys choose to sleep with this because it keeps the slight tension throughout the night. I am not exactly sold on this. I did try it a couple of times, but with noturnal erections, I do not see how it is possible to do... for me anyway.
When I spoke with them on the phone, he suggested measuring on a weekly basis. I think I am going to measure on a monthly basis instead. I am throwing the extra week from July into August so the first measurement after starting this will be at the end of August.
My goal for this is to gain a minimum of 1" Erect (they told me that with a years use I could very easily gain 2" Erect) and as much as I can Flaccid. I think it would be great to have my Flaccid length bumping right up to my Erect length. Only time will tell.

14 years 11 months ago #1269687429I think that Soma is right in that gains are a function of time x stress so if you are able to commit enough time to the Autovac I do not see why it wouldn't work for you. But like I said, they should not be mutually exclusive. However, if you are comfortable with what you already have, I might not shell out the extra dough for another system until I know that the first is not producing the gains. Just my $.02

14 years 11 months ago #1269692189Thanks for the advice. I've been shelling out many thousands on all sorts of PE and general physical reconditioning this year so the price of such a device is a drop in the bucket in comparison, so I wanted to gear up for whichever is surer of producing results with that far rarer resource, the precious hours spent dangling about a stretcher.

14 years 10 months ago #1270287840I currently use the muzzle set up from thunders place which cost around 15 bucks to make. Could easily hang 20lbs with that but am only up to 8 lbs right now. However it takes time to put on and can't double as an ads which the vacads and grip can.

14 years 10 months ago #1270392172I continue to struggle with the customer service at the "grip" headquarters, even now dealing with replacement parts. I just keep on them, as frustrating as it can be.
