TOPIC: Lumps or hards posts in the Neck region just below glans

Hello everyone, I have a small Nodule in the bottom middle area and a large lump at the right side of the base. Also a ridge on each side of the top at the base.

In my case I believe that I actually contributed to this myself because I wore an extender right after. The bottm of the extender has a dip in it and i think the PMMA got pushed in there. I think the sides of the extender caused the ridges.

The only problem with my theory is if I believe its my fault then I don't understand it happening to people whom didn't wear one right after.

Thanks for this informative posting about PMMA not always remaining perfectly spread out. I wonder if this also happens using only ten percent concentration, given that I had none with that weaker injection in my first series but had issues with 20 percent?


I would also like to know whether a Kenalog injection can successfully reduce hard collagen lumps on the neck area below the glans? This is the first place a woman touches when she reaches for you, so it would be nice if she didn't notice something strange instantly...

And I have a few too. So there are a few people who have this condition. Dr C said they can also surgically remove it at the office if need be. So as I understand it, there are three options that his office is providing: Kenalog shots (I got one and it did not really work), breaking up of nodules during a session using the cannula and surgical Removal.

Under Wade's suggestion, I have cancelled my 4th session to give the body more time to heal itself ( it has been 5 months since my 3rd session) and for the pain to go away (there is mild discomfort at those troubled areas)

I hope the 4th session will be my last, but for some reason, I think this PMMA procedure will always be changing, but for the better I think, and one may need more sessions that originally thought!

One of my nodules is visible when Erect. It's the size of like a small BB under the skin. It's painless and has actually diminished a little bit over time. The rest (few) require further examination and are all behind the glans. When Flaccid, they are hardly as visible.

I have about three to four areas that exhibit what is being described here. I had three small Kenalog injection by Dr. C in my last visit (round3) but they were not effective. Now I have three more and bigger lumps around the Circumcision area and are causing some pain especially during sex. I agree as SO mentioned they may need a few Kenalog injection to effectively fix the problem. One small lump (from round 2) did get softer in time and now I do not worry about it, so I am hoping the rest of these problem areas (from round 3) will also at least soften up and Kenalog will help fix them. I will give it about six months and then assess the situation.

Had my operation mid Feb.

Have developed 2 lumps on either side. One is more distinctive as when I roll back my Foreskin you can tell.

As it does not cause any discomfort/pain when I squeeze should I not be worried about them?

Over all Im happy with results. Aesthetics are still a work in progress with some Kenelog shots planned in a few months. In 4 sessions I gained almost 1.75

Yea, I have a few which will be addressed in my 4th round later this year. They have diminished in both size and are not as palpable as they used to be, and consequently aren't aggravated when rubbed against (anymore, whereas they used to be aggravated causing a very mild pain around the skin above the nodules, when being rubbed against aggressively). I attributed it to a combination of the neck entry's susceptibility for these Nodule-formations as well as my insufficient post-op massaging in this area.
Four things have usually addressed this in the past:
1. Time - some have had small nodules virtually diminish over time or become a non-issue over time. I suspect only a minority of Nodule patients are lucky enough to rely solely on time.
2. Kenalog injections. These will probably require more than one injection spaced out.
3. Excision if you need it done on one trip. They make a small incision at the Nodule and extract the PMMA clump, then bandage you up.
4. A combination of any of the above.
Anyone who has undergone any of the above should chime in to let us know if it has been effective.

I find that if nodules don't cause pain (due to irritation), then they are merely aesthetic nuisances. If they don't bother you visually (or are hard to see), they really shouldn't be a cause for concern.

I have a few nodules, but only one I believe is truly in need of correcting. The rest can easily be camouflaged or even ignored altogether and I'd be fine with it.

I think a lot of how much time we spend with immediate post-op massaging can diminish the lump/Nodule issue. At least in theory.

Some freak out about lumps, others yawn, but regardless of how you feel about them aesthetically, I don't know of any reason to believe they are some sort of medical issue (unless they were FBG's, which is an entirely different story altogether).

Are everyones nodules permantely visible. I have a lump which is only visable when i retract my Foreskin. I have not really seen anyone else on PB have the same issue. Its reduced slightly to the point where i does not bother me as much as it did but when it formed it really got to me. I also had a lack of post op care. After rnd 2 i will be massaging the life out of it!

As I've mentioned previously, I have this same issue. I will likely opt for Removal at R3 of the one Nodule that continues to cause me angst. I am hoping this will be my last session.

My lumps softened but a hardened ridge of skin under the glans hasn't.

I have some hard spots or lumps under the skin just below the glans and one causes some discomfort.
Anyone else have this issue?
