TOPIC: Are stretching exercises necessary after ligament surgery

I recently planned to have ligament surgery and Hyaluronic Acid injections and my doctor told me that both procedures can be done at the same time. My question is can I have Hyaluronic Acid injections directly after the ligament surgery without stretching? Does stretching after ligament surgery really work?

Mind if I ask who your practicing surgeon is? Traditionally, stretching is to be anticipated after Ligamentolysis to aid in the overall results. Given that you'd be doing both, I'd focus on recover first before getting into any stretching regimen. Also, be sure that stretching regimen is your physician's prescribed protocol.

I was in China and this doctor, called Zhang Xiaowei, actually did not recommend ligament surgery for me, he said the results could be limited. He thought I could stretch, but it wasn't very necessary.
