TOPIC: Dr. Elist Testicular Enhancement 5/16/2016

I am going to start off by saying I have heard all of the positives and negatives.

I am 45 years old and in fairly good shape. I have been on TRT pellets for over 6 years now and it has been the best 6 years of my life sense about the age of 30. The bad thing about being on the TRT as everyone probably knows is the testicle Atrophy. My Balls used to be in between a medium to large egg, they are now smaller the the smallest egg. It does do a lot to ones self esteem and a bit worry some when it comes to sex!

After a long time searching the internet and talking with Dr. Elist's office I have opted for the surgery. I will try to update this to the best of efforts. I know I haven't been on here a long time, but joined just to read on this topic.

I will be getting the newer version of the implant that came out in early 2015. Also will be having my testicles "released" so to say, so they will hang lower in the ball sack. I will also take a picture the night before surgery and start the day after keeping a log on here with pictures for everyone to see. I will also tell the doctor that I am doing this to try and clear up or confirm what everyone thinks on these type of forums.

I am not sure if I can post the price or peoples names from his office so if someone would clarify for me that would be great.

I am truly looking forward to this procedure and have high hopes for him doing the best he can on me. So far his staff has been extremely helpful and returns email and phone calls in a very timely manner. I know this is all pre-op, so I hope it will stay the same post-op if they are needed.

Just remember everyone has their own minds to make up and has a right to do what they believe to be the best for them selves.

Well, at the risk of being a contrarian, I had the testicular implants done by Elist for similar reasons in July, 2014. I have been consistently "thrilled" with them. They are slightly firmer than natural testicles, but so far, no one, including my Dermatologist and my PCP, could tell that they were implants. While having a laser hair Removal treatment on my scrotum a month ago, with embarrassment I said to my Dermatologist, "I guess it's obvious that I have testicular implants," and he said he had no idea. PLUS - he is gay, so I'm sure he's familiar with testicles in general However, I recently had an MRI for an upcoming hip replacement surgery, and the scan detected the implants.

I'll be honest, it has been a big boost to my confidence. I guess, in a way, it is kinda sad that my "full package" increases my self esteem, but it is still true. Anyway, I would absolutely do the surgery again without hesitation.

Please reconsider this. I had the implants, and they were terrible. Hard as rocks, and caused me more embarrassment that I could not hide these massive lumps afterwards. Will gladly tell you as much as I can either here or via private message, but they are beyond awful. I had them taken out, and it has been a long and depressing journey.

During implant, I was in constant daily pain, the tightness and the uncomfortableness was horrible.

After Removal, my testicles are now smaller than they were before the implants. The trauma on the testicles is undeniable. Additionally, my libido is reduced (could be other factors like age, but still it's noticeable and I personally believe most likely to be as a result of the massive trauma on my testicles).

I doubt you will keep them if you get this awful implant. The downsides are not so obvious, and all you are probably looking at the positive idea of having larger testicles. As I did also. Please reconsider. I would give anything to get back to my pre-implant testicle size (small as they were and all the bad things that went along with that).

Testicular enhancement is a joke

smalljay, I don't think the testicle implants and the penis implant are even close to being in the same category. "Clear Up" was probably the wrong wording, my fault. I am not sure what he does to make them hang lower, I will find that out once there and then make my decision. I have talked with 3 people that have had this done sense the new softer ones have been used. They all 3 say they are just a bit harder then the real thing. Like I said in my first post everyone needs to make their own decision and I have made mine. If you had above normal ball size like I did, you might think defferently about this. Maybe not....My Balls are now about the size of a large cherry.

Reklaw, You have NO idea how I will react to having these and maybe you should think about that before saying so. I am a very stable person with no type of depression in my life at all! With no desrespect, there are so many men on here trying to get a bigger penis, but the Balls are out of the question in some peoples minds???? If you had a 5" penis Hanging between you legs in the soft state with basically no Balls? Oh by the way how are your penis mods coming?

Look guys I could care less about what anyone says about not going thru with this! It is for me and only me, I don't need these boards to get thru life. I just wanted to hear from real guys who have had this done. If you don't like it just skip it and move on.

As some of you know, I had the testicular implants done by Elist in October 2014 with his newest version at the time. They were supposed to be softer, but they are still pretty hard, but not bad hard, just harder than they were and not squishy. I had Atrophy from testosterone treatments. Overall, I'm happy I did it. My Balls are larger certainly, but not too large. I got the XL size, and the XXL seemed out of proportion. Only down side so far has been about a 25% semen decrease. But supplements has brought that back up (not that it was that important).

I wished I had the modification to lower them, as they hang moderately high still.

Talgerman- What is the newest version he developed in 2015? What's better?

Smalljay- I understand some of the concern you have, which I share regarding Elist's penile implants. Glad I didn't allow him to talk me into it. Unfortunately Elist is one of the only Doc's on the planet doing the shell covering enhancement around your existing teste's. Seems like he does a better job with the Balls...

Toolman, He stated that the new version was even softer. I believe that his office said the release was around February 2015. Did he offer you the modification to lower them at the time of surgery? I am not sure how new that part of the surgery is, but I will be paying very close attention when he tells me his method for doing so. I am glad you are happy with them as a whole, this means a lot to me as we are both guys that were on testosterone therapy.

I am back home now after the surgery. I was impressed with all the staff at Dr. Elist's office, a bit more relaxed then I would have expected from a doctors office. Doors left open while naked, people in and out of my room, but could be me just being self conscious. Was crazy nervous on surgery day, but calmed down a bit after talking with everyone at the office. Elist has done over 2000 of these surgeries with a 99% success rate, with the 1% being infection issues.

After the surgery there was no real pain so to say, but it felt like someone was holding my Balls a bit to tight. It was more of an uncomfortable feeling vs pain. I haven't taken any of the pain pills I got, but have taken some aspirin for the discomfort. My sack was pretty swollen the day after surgery and the swelling is still there 3 days later, but has gone down a lot. On my last check up the day I got on the plane Elist was very surprised there was no bruising and the swelling had gone down so fast. The worst thing about all this is having to wear this jock he gives you with a hole cut out for your penis to go through. I normally wear briefs with a pouch and wish that those would be okay after a week.

Good luck with recovery. It gets better day by day. Your recovery the first few days sounded like mine. The scrotum takes some time getting used to the new size of your testicles.

Just pointing out the hypocrisy in this statement. You have been a member for 1.5 years and as of this moment have a total of 5 posts.


As far as Elist claiming 99% success with the 1% failure being due to infection, that's a lie. I have talked to 2 different men who have had to have the implants removed because their testicles came out of the implants. I don't think that qualifies as infection.


I truly do wish you nothing but success with your procedure. I have said it before, if this was done by anyone other than Elist, I would probably be considering it.

Did he say that you would need to stretch to make them hang lower or will they do that on their own over time?

bricep, I never needed to post as I was here getting information on the implants. I chose to post after making my appointment with Dr. Elist. At that time I thought I would start a thread for my surgery. Guess that's not how it works?

Dr. Elist did bring up the couple of men that the Balls had slipped out of the implant. He also stated that there were four men that he new of and he believed it happened because they were using weighted ball stretches and broke the Sutures holding the Balls in place. Sense 2015 he has started using a stronger thread to hold them in place, but still recommends not using weights for ball stretching.

I am not here to deffend him in any way, I have read the horror stories. I hope I am not one of them and hope everyone that wass will make a full recovery.

Actually, we have a lot of lurkers, who join and simply gather information without posting. That's fine. It is what it is. Just don't call someone else out for doing the same thing you did. That's all I'm saying.

Hey all. As I stated on another thread, I got them about six/seven weeks ago. Healing is fine. I like the way they feel in underwear. Every sex partner has asked if they are implants. I'm gay so my partners know Balls. If and when they hang lower, maybe it'll be less obvious. Yeah, so I'm torn but in any event will leave them in for a minimum of a year because of the time and expense I've already put into it to see if in that time they become a bit more natural looking and feeling.

Everyone, keep in mind that the OP is talking about testicle implants NOT Elist penile implant. There is a huge difference in success rates between these two procedures.
