Most urologists don't know sh*t about peyronie's. Penile curvature (congenital and acquired) is Dr. Egyido's area of expertise. Do NOT believe what your Urologist tells you! You can be treated and have your "divot" or "hinge" effect resolved. At present, the medical field is evolving rapidly with increasing areas of specialty on the rise. The human body is incredibly complex and by creating specialized areas of medicine, we are able to focus our area of study on a less intimidating scale. Urology is a grandiose field of medicine in and of itself. Considering the duration of your affliction with peyronie's, I personally feel that the pump will be of little benefit. It is worth a shot however.

Re: Peyronie's Disease... My experience
14 years 11 months ago #1270031357I did a couple Erect measurements tonight... was kind of surprised by my EG being pretty good... (6" at base). My EG would be thicker but the divot from the penile fracture caused some Girth loss as well as length... I've definitely lost Erect length.. more than I thought.. I think I actually lost over an Inch in length which is a major bummer... My erections are still really good which is great...!! I'm also 50 now and am not sure if the normal aging process also contributed to that length loss... It certainly would not surprise me... everythings receding now from my gumline to my friggin hair line... I even have "bald spots" on my once very hair legs... sheeeeesh........ gettin olds not fer woosies.....!!!!
I'm very shy & hoping can work up the nerve to post all stats backed up by really clear pictures.. (when I get really good pics which will be very soon)
I want to get Dr Egydio really good, clear pics right away.. He said he needs them from pretty much all angles... So, if I get him all my info, even if I dont have the surgery for a while, he and I can open up the lines of communication now... I thank you again for your support and this information on Dr Egydio... If he CAN help me get my full, original EL back-- "I'm ALL IN"... Thats for sure.. Your a good man M7!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ciao my Brutha's...!!!!!

'My specific penile fracture / peyronies is manifested as a "divot" approx 1.5 inches out from base on left side due to Penile Fracture.' This happened during female superior / cowgirl sex at age 43.. Thats my biggest concern is that it happened quite a while ago and has now definitely "settled out" & is in a stable, relatively unchanging (apparently) state... Dr Elist, who I still think is a very good Dr, commented that it is very GOOD that all around the base of my penis is "soft and un-damaged".... Elist does think I could regain some & possibly have 50-75% healing via gentle, regulary, diligent, use of a VED (which I purchased)...''' All in all, The thought of "getting it back to normal length etc" almost makes me giddy...
I am still very very skeptical but am willing to discuss it with Egydio... I plan to do so immediately even if I cant have the operation until mid 2012... I'm not a millionaire.. I do pretty well but $12K is still quite a bit of money.... & right now, I obviously have no idea what it would cost in total... However, Its a "pittance" if this really could work... thats for sure..
My 20 year old son who is a US Air Force Airman is here for 2 more days... We're going out for an awesome dinner tonight... I'm so grateful he is HAPPY!!! He is happy and engaged fully with life..!!! I am so PROUD of my son & its so good to see him...!! He knows nothing of any of this...
miracle7 -- I have to say your story & your level of satisfaction is the only thing pushing me to call Egydio... I just cant believe I havent heard of this procdure before and that pretty much everyone I've spoken with says -- "live with it" or something equally hopeless... Now,' I have hope... not much yet... but I do have hope... --- signed -- "hope for more" --Kevin
