Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720200In November 2021, I saw Dr. Dellinger and he injected the silicone oil and had great response. Had a couple of nodules that he drained pretty quickly but we didn’t reach the size goal that I wanted. So in 2023 we did a second round and it really did nothing except create a couple of larger nodules that he wanted me to massage out. The largest one was basically having a Cock ring embedded at the base of my penis. It finally broke up about a year later into several large pieces. I was out of money to do another round and he felt bad about the lack of increase after the second one so he included me in a trial of a new product that includes PMMA, and CMA/silicone oil. The goal is to get FDA approval for this. There were 20 of us in the trial. Including an acquaintance of mine.
It created more size than I wanted actually which was fine. I started just under 5 inches around back in 2021 and after this trial I was at 7 inches around. If I wore a Cock ring due to ED it was 8 inches around. As hot as that sounds and what Guy doesn’t want the biggest one, it literally is the size of a water bottle.
I started having nodules and did a really good job of keeping him informed. Anytime I reached out I came into the office. They did pictures, and told me to go home and massage them and at some point if I wanted, we could use Kenalog. But wanted me to be patient And keep massaging. At one point there were only 10 or so nodules and when it got closer to 25. I went in and said I I want to do the Kenalog. I believe tthat was in October.
Suddenly, Kenalog was no longer an option. Telling me that it doesn’t work on PMMA unless it’s done quickly. In the beginning of every procedure, he told me it was reversible with Kenalog. Otherwise, I would never have done it.
He said he would do the surgery for free, but I didn’t trust him. He tried to set me up with a Urologist that he works with who has done the surgeries and have him work with him to help with my trust. It took two months to get an appointment and I had to pay $50 just to get the appointment in advance despite having insurance. Two days or so before the appointment the doctor canceled. In the meantime, I was already working with my Urologist who was very concerned since the nodules were now at around 30+.
So he did the surgery on January 10. It looks pretty hideous, but I’m trying to be positive because I know it’s traumatic. He was able to remove 70% of it saying that the rest of it was like super glow and didn’t want to damage the skin.
I’m attaching a few pictures of my original penis, after the first one and the second one and the third one.
I have filed a complaint with the Texas medical board and interviewing attorneys because he gave me misinformation.. I’ve also had multiple consultations with doctors in the field of enhancement, and they all agree that Kenalog wouldn’t work and Massage doesn’t work on something this severe especially. And that the injectable steroid would have to be done early to be effective. Dellinger didn’t seem to want to do that and I trusted him.
Honestly, the silicone oil in the first round was awesome and if the second round had gone the same, I would’ve hoped to reach the goal and I would’ve been thrilled with the whole thing except for what I call “fauxskin” that developed after the first procedure. It seems to be pretty common, but no one talks about it and it’s not on any website that I can see of any doctor as a potential side effect or in any after picture. I got used to that, but did have comments about it. I also had significant disfigurement because it’s not balanced. You can see that in the last pictures.
It’s created multiple events of rejection where people have obviously been turned off by it, I’ve been turned off by it, it’s like masturbating a bag of skittles basically. It’s deformed and I lost a great deal of sensitivity. I was able to “finish “five times in a four month period. And for the first time in my life, lost Erection during sex because I was turned off by it. It’s created a significant amount of depression, lack of confidence, additional ED, really wrecked my life.

That PSA out of the way, I sincerely hope you find all the resources you need here -- your penis is salvageable and I'm convinced with the proper treatments & therapies moving forward now that your Removal procedure has been done can work. I should also suggest getting 2nd opinions from Doctors who've done Reconstructive Urological Repair on silicone-exposed penises, Dr. Carney of Rejuvall comes to mind, and I can happily provide other names if you wish to reach out to me directly (via private message or email--
Good luck, and thanks for posting, it takes a lot to muster the strength to post when in a disappointed mindset -- you're helping many others in the process. And also good on you for reporting these silicone pumpers to the respective Medical Authorities.
We're here for you and if you check out User uncuthero's story, you'll see that nodules aren't the end-game and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720206Luckily, he cannot say that he did not tell me it can be reversed. I have my chart notes at least as many as I can get from him. There were several follow up appointments that have no progress notes at all.
Luckily, in one of them, he documented that if it did not improve, then he would consider injecting with Kenalog. So he can’t deny that he told me. It’s there in black-and-white.
Also, when I requested my records, which took multiple times, he sent me someone else’s consent form. So I have another person‘s name/consent form. One would think when dealing with someone who’s really unhappy that whatever they sent would be 100% accurate. I work in the healthcare field and deal with PHI all the time and if I had to send confidential records out in a situation like this, I would’ve had another colleague check each document to make sure it was accurate. So that will be updated on the medical board report as well
What a mess. Hopefully I’ll be able to get into the surgeons tomorrow because as soon as I unwrap it, it starts bleeding again and I’ve already been to the ER once for that. It’s manageable now but it’s painful and distressing.

Holy! Someone else's consent form (never mind the delays in getting the paperwork period) -- talk about what I would assume is a major HIPAA violation.
I might of forgiven a Doctor if everything else was stellar (bedside manner, results & satisfaction, and timeliness in providing medical records), and would have informed the Doctor personally (because this was likely an Administrative error) so that he or she can ensure it doesn't occur again. Then you have a guy who was affiliated with Loria using silicone products (proprietary fillers that are not FDA approved as far as I know) who stalled on a timely release of your Medical Records, and still has the belligerence of committing a HIPAA violation?! In this instance, an Administrative Error is very much on him, because should know the sensitivity of your situation and should be extra considerate when handling your case file.
You know, all that schooling to become a Surgeon just to get swindled by the likes of Loria and can't even operate a Medical Practice at the most basic levels of competency. This is a common thread with Loria-related quacks.
Do you know if any of the Doctors working on you outside of Dellinger have any experience or familiarity with your situation (i.e. penile dermal fillers, nodules, and even possibly granulomas)? And if so, how much really? And if not, have you considered potentially seeking out alternatives who may provide you a better prognosis by putting you on the best path for recovery & resolution?

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720281And totally agree about the HIPAA violation. I added that to my state complaint to the medical board.
They reached out for more information. The people I have done consultations with have been mentioned on this site before so I feel confident that they will give the same answers as I have that this cannot be dissolved and reversed just with an injection as I was led to believe. Seems it can be effective early on, but not once it is settled and not on that many nodules.
Adding pictures from today. It’s been one week today since the surgery and no bleeding after the shower. I did wrap it lightly anyway. It’s pretty distressing to look at.

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720283What did the doctor say is the recovery time and you can still get erections right? Did they say it would be possible or did Avanti Derma say it would be possible to get filler afterwards?

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720284I’m supposed to keep it wrapped to help with some bleeding. I’m up now because I woke up at four with a bloody bandage. It’s fine and it really wasn’t much blood, but seems like a lot more when you see it on white boxers. It had already stopped bleeding by the time it woke me up. As far as Erection, those will happen and I am to ignore them.

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720286I guess maybe the temporary ones like HA filler or Radiesse. After seeing Alias9 results I'm going to hit up Avanti Derma with the next two procedures using Linneasafe PMMA.

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720294However, it seems tight and I need to talk to the doctor tomorrow about how to remove it or if I should because it is tighter in that area than the rest of my penis
Also curious why I’m getting random erections and they hurt like hell

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720315I told him I wasn’t feeling very supported because I hadn’t gotten callbacks and messages from the portal and that this is really freaking me out so he spent some time with me going over how he thinks it will look with the baseline will be soft and hard, etc. That was really helpful. We really didn’t get a chance to do that last Monday when I had all the bleeding Because we were focused on bleeding and I also had back spasms that made it to where I could barely breathe, I was an incredible pain. So.
So today he eased my mind mostly but did say that the black ring around my penis is necrotic skin that will flake off and he’s not worried about it. He expected it called it sloughing.
He had originally said two incisions, and there are seven areas that are stitched. He said the other ones were accidents because the material was so hard that as he was trying to cut it or chip at it a little bit, his scalpel went through or whatever instrument he was using, they said this was like superglue in there
He thinks it will look as close to my original penis as possible and he said I don’t understand why you would have done the filler anyway because you have the most perfect penis ever lol. I had shown him the before pictures soft and hard. He was like why would you wanna mess with that?? Boys and their toys

Re: Update on my surgical removal
1 year 6 months ago #1308720327As I mentioned above, the black area is not derma bond, but it is necrotic skin that will flake off. Nothing to worry about. Initially I was told two incisions and there are seven scars and that’s where the scalpel came through or whatever he was using to try to break up and remove the filler that he said was like rock or superglue. So those were accidents unfortunately, but they should heal fine.
I went ahead and started the antibiotic because it had smell this morning and I’d rather just not deal with that. I go back next Wednesday for the three week follow up.
He assures me that the shape will be much better once the swelling is gone, and the stitches are absorbed or removed. I forget which he said.
I really appreciate the messages here and the private messages supporting me. It means a lot.
