Nags is right, going in and getting on that drip quick and having a doctor supervision saved your bacon. Did you tell them everything? Didn't doc C put you on a 10 day antibiotic to prevent something like this?? This is a very important lesson for everyone. Abscess can be very very bad. Looks like Astro lucked out, Indiano's was the worst if they packed it full of gauze. Operations are dangerous, infections are extremely dangerous-- and look at how clean Doc C's office is. I honestly didn't think to much about the hard spot as it happened about 4 weeks after my first round. And it fairly common to feel harder than normal tissue post op. I wonder if me wearing flannel boxers under my dress pants all week contributed . I was taking the antibiotics Dr C prescribed . And yes I told the ER doctor everything. He asked how much I paid, and where it was done. I can only guess I missed a hygiene check while inspecting or massaging. Still not sure what the true cause was. Ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow, to see if further draining required. Local pain in the area has gone down, as has the swelling. Still taking all my sups, as well as Cialis and remaining flowmax. I am still red in the area, and my donut reappeared. Donut most likely from the infection, and aggressive squeezing the dr did this morning to expell the pus. Have noticed the pus is less yellow, and almost clear.. here's hoping it's a positive sign. I have contacted Ian, and expect to speak to Dr C on Monday. The Dr at the ER also recommended I speak to Dr C, as he is more knowledgeable regarding the procedure and complications. Would like to thank the forum for your support through this ordeal. It does go to show even with regimented aftercare complications can happen. After all it is invasive cosmetic surgery! All should keep this in mind when considering Phalloplasty. Even though my first round went off without a problem, every session is different, including how your body reacts each time. I am going to try to take a picture of the ultrasound tomorrow to show members what their junk looks like with PMMA enlargement. What's funny is a few months ago I went to the Urologist and asked about the "lumps" he said they were scar tissue and a raised area I had, he said it was an edema and will go away naturally but yet it hasn't, and the area the pus is coming from is near the edema. In reality it's fucking outrageous that tax payers money goes towards this kind of thing. Btw I'm not blaming you @lydon47, I'm a Brit and we have free health care here also. If the service is there, use it. But it's unbelievable how powerful the left have become politically. I've always seen myself as being left of center, but in recent years my opinion is really changing. I'm all for people having free access to health care, but when it gets to the point where guys are getting home visits from nurses to help with the penis enlargement issues, it's gone too far in my opinion. I'm perfectly happy to pay NI (heath tax in the UK) for a health service, even if I don't ever use it, if, for example, it means kids with cancer etc can get free treatment. But in the UK it got to the point where girls were getting free boob jobs to help with their self esteem and I am not happy to pay for that. Hoddie, like you I am burdened with some of the highest taxes in the world, in fact British taxes are considerably more than Canada. Although the world praises our universal health care it certainly has its flaws. We have a situation here where refuges are instantly given free health care, without having to have paid into the system, a complete atrocity, fortified by a out of control liberal system. Our current gov't spends, and wastes more money on foreign policy and headline issues than on our veterans, and indigenous people. This is a true waste of taxes. They are creating a legacy of insurmountable debt for future generations. The world sees our PM as some kind of poster boy, that all seem to admire. Yet at home, Canadians are frustrated, and embarrassed with his lack of domestic policy, and ridiculous "spend our way out of debt" montra. In truth I elected to have the surgery, and hold myself responsible for the outcome, good or bad. I would have paid for the current treatment out of pocket if I had too, but the fact that I went into a urgent care facility qualified me for several free medical services.
