TOPIC: 2nd girth surgery with doctor Solomon

I will be having a 2nd widening surgery with Dr. Solomon on March 10th.

This time I have opted for the widening instead of the full wrap, since the healing time is faster and the risk of complications is lower.

I will be updating you guys through the whole process and I'll be sure to post pre and post op pics.

I'm hoping to add another Inch to circumference.

Has anyone ever had multiple layers of graft? I know some doctors put in several sheets at once, but I have heard that leads to complications. Dr. Solomon told me to wait at least 6 months from my last surgery to allow the graft to vascularize.

One side question, is there anything out there similar to the grip systems weighted condom. I like the design but the rubber is very uncomfortable.

I had my second Girth surgery with Dr. Solomon yesterday. I chose the widening surgery instead of the full wrap. This surgery is remarkably less invasive than the full wrap I had last time. I already feel better and it's only been one day. There is much less swelling then there was last time, and the drain tube should be removed tomorrow, which is 2 days post op, compared to last time it was in for 6.

I was at 6.5 Erect Girth pre op, the doctor says I can expect to be between 7 and 7.5 once I'm all healed up.

Has anyone ever used the auto sleeve stretching device. Once I can start stretching id like to try that instead of the grip weighted condom. I just find the grip to be a little uncomfortable.

I will try and post a pic tomorrow when the wrap is removed.

How is it less invasive? Do you have any photos? I know it's early in the process, but I think early photos are the most important as they show patients what to expect. Recovery is so stressful if you haven't experienced it before, so photos documenting the process from as early as possible are an invaluable resource.

Are you even a year post op from your first procedure?

I'm 9 months post op from the original full wrap. The doctor says this is less invasive because unlike the full wrap, this widening procedure allows blood flow from all sides.

From my understanding the widening simply involves sliding 2 graft pieces down the side of the shaft. Where as the full wrap requires folding all the shaft skin up and placing the entire sheet over you shaft. The wrap was not a bad experience. But there was more swelling and it took longer to heal. The widening surgery should heal much more quickly.

I am all wrapped up now, but when the dressing comes off tomorrow I will take a picture for you guys.

This is $3,000 cheaper than the full wrap.

So he used 2 new, but small, incisions either side?

How much was this surgery? Did you get a better price as a returning patient.

I've got an issue with very loose skin and I'm beginning to think only a graft can help. But I'm very, very skeptical about having a procedure like this as their track record is so bad. I like the incisions Dr S uses, but his track record is less than stellar and he really badly screwed up our last member to have surgery with him. I'm kind of between a rock and hard place. I'd like to go the PMMA route if I go for another procedure, but I just think my skin is so badly damaged after suffering Necrosis, that the only solution is to graft material onto the penis.

Yeah, he had to use the side incisions to ensure the graft was placed correctly. From my understanding that is what makes this procedure so much less invasive than the full wrap. Instead of folding all the skin back to put the grafts in, there are 2 small incisions on the side.

I did get a discount for my second surgery.

So if there are 2 separate grafts, how come they wont be detectable? Surely each graft will have edges? I know with other allografts patients would complain they could feel the edges and that they would often come loose. I thought the advantage of the full wrap was that it eliminated this problem.

Was the first surgery $10,000?

Also are there incisions under the glans? It looks a bit like there could be some Sutures there.
