TOPIC: Pain, Inflammation, redness 2 months+ after touch up

Still applying Bactroban 2% cream. Maybe the ATB's in the cream help with the inflammation.
I'll monitor a couple of days and upload some pics for comparison.
BTW this whole inflammation thing started 2 months after the session, the next day after I had some really long 'fun-night' with my GF.
Symptoms the morning after was just some lymph build-up but a lot more than normally ( get minor swelling after longer sex sessions )
And then the next days the redness and pain developed.
This might help if we do a treat about FBG's and how they start to manifest.
Cheers

I have asked Prof. Lemperle to check the pic.s and to give me his opinion :-
This guy has developed a real granuloma and should be treated with cortisone (Kenalog , triamcinolone) injections : 1 ml a 40 mg mixed with 1 ml lidocaine and injected Swiss cheese-like in the lump only by pumping it up pulling the 27G needle back and forth. hes,Gottfried
I wonder if this advice is as applicable to the penis as it is in other parts of the body. The penis is pretty unique in that the skin can be pulled away, so surgical intervention surely has far less draw backs than in other areas. For example, it's not possible to cut it out of the face or buttocks without cutting away chunks of tissue and causing some deformity. But the penis is obviously totally different and one can access lumps without cutting away large chucks of tissue and creating big scars.
I saw a documentary (starring a member of this forum!) years ago when a guy had a fat lump removed from his penis. The surgeon made a very small incision and through it was able to remove quite a sizable lump. Maybe this would be a better option than steroids, as they can damage the surrounding tissue. Obviously Prof Lemperle's know infinitely more than me about these things, but I'm just wondering if his advice is based on years of dealing with problems in areas where surgery would leave deformity and thus it's a stock reply that doesn't necessarily hold true for the penis.

Dont take this Allopurinol unless you ask your doctor, please. I am just trying to help you bro. and to give you different options.
I agree with you H10 Lemperle has no experience with FBGs in the penis I am sure he had never seen them before except in this case , but it is mentioned that FBG has a finger-like extension which will be difficult to remove them completely sometimes you have to remove a bigger chunk of the surrounding tissues in order to remove a FBG completely. So IMO I would send the pic.s to Dr.C. too, ask for his opinion and I will try 1st a non-surgical treatment and if I need to travel to him I will do that if I can afford it.

13 years 3 months ago #1277630891You may want to write Dr C care of Christian at <info@avantiderma.com>
I am sure you'll get a reply this way.
Regarding Dr Nelly Gauthier, here are her geographical coordinates in the fanciest neighborhood in Paris:
www.docteurgauthier.fr/en/the-office.html
I haven't heard of her before in France, she is a specialist of the face and neck and not a phalloplastician.
I understand that some of her staff speaks English.
She's something of the Queen of Botox.
I wonder she'd botox my unit to stop it from TURTLING? (see my thread)
Best of luck-

13 years 3 months ago #1277644866The cream definitely helps, it called BACTROBAN 2%. The main ingredient is an ATB ( Mupirocin (( it an pseudomonin acid C26H44O9 )
I noticed the effects almost the next day when i first applied the cream. I still have some redness but it definitely got better. Let's se if it goes away completely.
Here some updated pics for comparison
The spots are still uneven, I hope they smooth out and disappear so that I get that normal look again.

It's definitely looking better and Erect it doesn't look that bad. In fact there are guys without FBG that look worse.
Good luck with your recovery!

Re: Pain, Inflammation, redness 2 months+ after touch up
13 years 3 months ago #1277646241@Hoodle. it was a minor effort I just hope this helps the board. My idea is to do a .pdf or .doc about PMMA injected int the penis. The theory, the reality outcome and the possible side effects. I already had some minor compilications which I have documented well on my laptop ( and in a little thread here ) and now this, a bit more severe complication which seems to go away... If we gather all info, not just only the good, it will be a good source for everyone considering this.
Kind regards

13 years 3 months ago #1277646500I noticed you said you had sex the day after your last touch up? Think that might have had something to do with the complication this time?
Also I sent a PM regarding being at your current size a few days ago. Can most of your partners handle it? Or does it cause some issues? (just asking as another guy considering another procedure vs a small touch up). Don't know what to think of the 6.5+" EG territory just yet haha.
