TOPIC: marknmau's update and implant pics

Hi hoddle. I just wrote a very long explanation from the Elan hotel in LA the night before the Removal and when I went to post the damn thing the wifi at this place dumped me back to the hotels wifi log in site and the hour plus long post is fricking gone! I don't have time to write it all again now, but will say the reason for Removal is a combination of many factors. I will explain later probably after surgery, here goes posting this one, hope you see it, wish me luck, and thanks to all who have already!

Removal surgery went well , very little pain compared to getting it put in. Elist was his usual over confident , dismisive self in a huge hurry constantly. Not to mention the fact that I had to run around getting tests done before they could, do the surg but luckily it all went down at the surgery center under general anesthesia on time. Of course once again enlist was not there yet when they put me under and was gone when I woke up, even though I told everyone I wanted to talk to him there. Went in this am for post check, he said all went perfect and easy since I didn't have mine stitched in ,also said that I had no scar tissue(?) so I didn't need any Kenalog injections. I guess that's good news if I can trust him, he also said he can take this drain out on Monday since we'll be here until next week. (Staying on the ocean now in Redondo Beach, very nice.).
Now comes the long (I hear) process of healing, stretching and maybe pumping to get my unit back to pre surgery condition, looks OK now but way early into it I know
I don't know how you guys like MM and Mustang and others could go through the Removal procedure in his office!! it doesn't even seem right! You all must be tougher guys than me, but of course reading how bad it was made me realize that I had to insist on the surg center and general... Thanks for the support guys and I will still write the story as to why I wanted it removed .

Well I should have known it was too good to be true! Woke up this morning with my Dick as small and shriveled up as I've ever seen it in my adult life! This is day 3 after Removal so I suppose there's swelling and fluid at first that makes it seem like not too much size was lost, but it sure as hell is tiny now! Retraction I guess you would call it, but the most depressing part of it is I can't even pull it out any longer, WTF !! I go in Monday before flying home to get this drain out and he said he would be giving me a stretching device then too. God I hope that does some good! will be giving him a piece of my mind too for what ever that's worth, nothing I suspect.

This is to be expected. There's been a lot of trauma to the penis, so give it a little time. Make sure the wounds are fully healed before you start stretching. I know the temptation is there to pull and tug...Resist it.

I couldn't help but laugh when I read your description of how he is always so late and hurried. He was over 3 hours late for my implant surgery. It ended up being done at 6pm! Of course Dr. Elist had already left (perhaps off to do some midnight surgery), and one of the nurses was left with me in the surgicentre. I'll never forget her eyes when I informed her that i was given no pain medication from the doctor. Not even an aspirin. Those eyes told me exactly what she thought of him (and it wasn't flattering), and at the same told me I was in for a lot of pain that night. And those weren't lying eyes I can tell you. Ouch!

Hi Mark - its me remember? You will probably understand my anger now back then when looking back over how one was conned and broken by Elist when others are promoting his dildo.

thank you guys I feel fortunate that I have this board and great support from such caring peole. and hopefully others may learn and not get into the same situation. I almost don't want to say too much about Elist until I have my last appt. with him tomorrow. He knows about this site and could he.possibly treat me differnt if he knows Im bad mouthing him? who knows? probably just being paranoid, but in this situation one doesn't want to take any chances.

Mark, I'm about one step behind you and feel for what you're going through. I had my implant replaced, it's already acting up and my instinct is to get this thing out of me. I'll create a separate thread for myself so I'm not hijacking your thread.Despite the psychological issues that no doubt pervade your current situation, the most important thing to keep in mind is you've taken the damn thing out of your body. It is a defunct innovation that is not in any shape for public usage, and he should be put out of business. I've already discussed with my wife the ramifications of removing the implant (whether she's going to miss it, etc.) and she's told me that it's me that she cares about. Remember, you are more than your penis and this is a temporary situation that will be resolved! Now, to post my own thread....

Made it home very late Mon night and had a very long day at work yestserday, The last I wrote I was freaking out about how small and shriveled up my Dick was, well how things have changed! Now it's all blown up, looks like fluid, and I'm wondering if the drain was taken out too soon! F*CK!
Elist didn't even bother to show up for the appointment I had on monday, to take the drain out, some other guy who claimed to be a doctor took it out, left a big gaping hole where the tube came out, and basically said massage it, starting right away, and start pumping at the end of this week?!
I can barely touch it! and I'm supposed to pump it? I don't think so! By the way, he charged me 400 bucks for the pump! I didn't fight it though, I just wanted to get the hell out of there for the last (I hope) time!
The more I know about this implant thing the more obvious it is that the penis is way to fragile a body part to have a chunk of silicone crammed into it, or even under the skin of it ! I mean it's so apparent to me now. I feel for you Boston, but I'm afraid your on the right track with your current instincts. I guess I should at least feel thankful that I never gave any thought to replacement. I still remember the first time I came across the old MNS site, and yes it really was after I had the implant, by just a week or so, ( a week too late looking back) and I remember Hoddle saying that it just doesn't make sense putting a static device into a dynamic organ, (or something like that) and it just made so much sense, but then I thought,..... why are all these guys getting it and liking it? so I allowed myself to just go with it, shit.... what could I do? I already had the damn thing in me. At first I thought I was dying from the pain and all the shit with the drain at home and a short but scary infection, so when all that went away, finally, after about 6 weeks and I started having sex with it, I thought, man this thing is pretty cool. Even though I didn't go into it for the extra size, I must admit I was well..... smitten over the whole thing, looking in the mirror thinking.... wow! a porn star would be proud! but it wasn't long, when the swelling really all went down, which takes months, that you begin to feel all the sharp edges and how thin the skin actually is over that foreign object in you. Then when one of the corners started sticking up and my wife could feel it. Actually she never was all that impressed, she never had kids so isn't very stretched out, she liked it OK but never really said much about liking it. She always just said if I liked it, then she did to, but also that it was always perfectly fine before. When your with the same woman all the time for years your Dick doesn't always get super hard, and when it wasn't, the edges were even more apparent, especially if looking down when your having sex from the top view, it actually looked pretty stupid! so of course then I was becoming very self concious about it, which of course made it that much harder to keep super hard which turned into a vicious cycle, so much so, that it really started to affect our sex life, at least as much as fifty some yrs old people have. So when I started asking her about getting it out she was very supportive. It was, looking back, a hard decision though, because I always thought, what If we would get divorced some day? wouldn't it be cool to impress the ladies with this monster? I now wish I would have gotten this thing out sooner, it did no good for our marriage. Not to mention the fact that if I want that again there is always PMMA, which I would do at a reasonable rate and amount, if I ever do.
Ok back to now..... I do feel a bit less anxious than I did yesterday, and my sleepless night last night, because it hasn't gotten any more swollen today and is just slightly red or pinkish in color, that and I don't have a tempurature at all. So hopefully it's not infected, and it just needs to absorb that fluid that would have been draining out. I even tried some ice and that seemed to help a tiny bit. Any idea's of course would be greatly appreciated. Oh, I almost forgot, I've now got a smaller dark red spot on the under side of the glans! wtf! never even had anything done to that?! unless they had some clamp on there during surgery or something? hopefully it'll just go away. I'll keep posting what I HOPE will be progress on here, and anyone can feel free to add whatever to this thread. I only wish those pics weren't on the first post on this thread, as to fool some poor sucker into something they will surely regret.
All I can say is what a collosal f*cking disaster this whole Elist silicone nightmare! PLEASE! if any guy see's this that is STILL thinking about getting this thing put in??!!! well I guess the rest goes with out saying........... good luck all!

Good luck Mark, you are on the right track. IT is a long road for full recovery but you can do it. Do not use ice too much, you need the blood flow. Just keep it clean and you will recover soon. Pump when you can but not for a week or two. Make sure it is not curved to one side or another...you want to keep it straight as much as possible....Will try to call you soon...PM any time..

Indeed, this whole process is terrifying.
I believe I was one of the first people to have mine removed, and I had no board or friends to depend on for advice. My sole source of info was...you guessed it...Dr. Elist.
I can tell you that my penis also filled with fluid, and I also believe I took the drain out (as I was advised to by the doctor) too soon.
You will find the swelling will dissipate within the next week...and for heaven's sake, don't start pumping too soon...
You made the right decision to have it removed.
Actually, you were one of the only old MNS members I know of that kept their implant in for so long. All the others took theirs out due to infection or just overall dissatisfaction.
Just be thankful that dildo is out of your body...

thanks again Mm that sounds like good news about the fluid. now my main concern is this red spot on my glans that is getting bigger and redder its also very sore now. I wish I could post some pics but my laptops messed up so between my cell and tablet I cant figure out how to get a pic from my smart phone to this site. If anyone would be willing to let me send some pics in a text to their phone that could then post them for me. I would be extremely grateful. Let me know if anyone has the know how and time. I know time is very valuable so its probably a long shot.

I wouldn't be too worried about a red spot Mark. If it was black then there would be cause for concern. It could be a burst blood vessel or even some bruising. Elist might have pinched the glans when pulling the implant out and this could have caused a red spot to develop. The fact it's sore suggests it's not a blood supply issue. As long as it's not numb, black or showing signs on infection, I wouldn't worry.

Yeah you're probably right hoddle. The more I read and think about how bad some of you've had things go I should just wait it out awhile and see how it looks and feels after some more time passes. And to think of not having this board or anyone to relate to (other than the perpetrators).........like some of you didn't........ would be horrible! Also I'm thinking, hoping anyway, that I might have less serious healing issues since my (stupid) implant wasn't stitched in like most were. Actually It does seem a bit better today , except that damn red spot, which is more like a burn or abrasion than anything else, it seems even more painful and raw, but not like something disastrous. I can just imagine him grabbing at the head of my Dick with some god awful Clamping device , so he could wretch that damn thing out of there while I was out ?! Ouch!..... but!, at least I WAS in fact out, (again, unlike some of you) OK so I should just quit complaining, for a while anyway. Will post any major changes though, good luck all!
