@Dd71 - Thanks for the research. I am certainly encouraged that Dr. C continues to refine his process. If 10% in multiple stages is better than that is good news.

I think it is very smart of Dr C to let his patient choose the PMMA product that the patient is most comfortable with. It is very clear that Dr C is likely the most experienced penis injector on the planet currently. If a patient wants to pay more for material that the patient believes is better, great. It will only increase his business. The way I look at it is the difference in price between Artefill and NewPlastic is way smaller than what I will spend on a new car this year. I care about my unit and my long term health way more than I care about my car! To Dr C it may be frivolous, to me it is not!

For me, "nearly as pure as" is like saying a condom will stop nearly all the sperm. For what is worth people have been quoting very low risk rates for things granuloma that is only applicable to Artefill not to NewPlastic. Hoperfully we will get data for NewPlastic and not continue to mix them together!

Anyway dd71 thanks for that, it's interesting to hear they are trying to steer people towards 10%, that was my thinking all along. You can always add more but you can't take away.

@mikehok - I believe I am cautious and want to see the data. You seem cynical, posting a negative comment on almost every doctor's quote except for one. Interesting!

If you read back through the large thread on the old forum you will see I was anti PMMA at first and very sceptical. My view gradually changed.

@mikehok - nothing of the sort, just reacting to you calling me cynical when you have made cynical comments about most doctor's quotes posted on this forum. I guess I am skeptical and want to see all the background data and studies before I draw any conclusion. Oops, that name is already taken!

@ EQ lol I thought that to myself(that I would just be redirected to that asshole dr) but hes not in the same city,nor does that dr specialize in HIV facial wasting reconstuction. Also if I go with PMMA and feel that artefill is a totally superior product, I will have NO PROBLEM spending the extra cash. For peace of mind and a bigger Dick= priceless.

Not to Praise any DRs, but IMHO I have total faith of the integrity of wade and Dr.C. I called under a false name to see if any of their stories would change when I asked an array of questions. Im telling you guys he didnt change a single word of detail when descibing the product/complications/and past procedures. I know that might not seem like a big deal to some of you out there....but when people lie or mislead in any way, stories def change.

Going the 10% route is def what I intend to do if I choose New plastic or Artefill. It just makes sense.BTW mike I dont think anyone questions your integrity here, you have paid your dues and earned your stripes on this forum. I may be wrong but I'm under the impression Artefill doesn't come in 10% concentration. It's either 20 or 30% from memory. I have a feeling Dr C may have a bias against it maybe for that reason, especially since they seem to be moving toward recommending the 10%.
anyway sorry to hijack Sizemic log !

Does anyone know how much 20cc of Artefill would cost administered by Dr. C? From a quick web search, it seems to be about $1,000 - $1,500 per cc in the US. I'm guessing the cost in Mexico is lower.

Haha it was an extra 2cc's! And nope still haven't measured! I will either wait until tomorrow (day 6) or wait until day 21 when the collagen should be pretty much formed. I'm still doubting that I'll make it to 6" We'll see.

I did a little adding today. Here is what this all has cost me so far:

Total cost of 2 PMMA trips to Dr. Casavantes (from Canada)

Round 1:
Air Canada = $651.61
Extra fees for moving flights one day = $78.75, $52.53
Expedia Hotel = $132.16
Procedure = $1640
Pizza from hotel room service = $24
Hotel shuttle to airport = $7
Parking = $86 (had an extra $28 charge due to missing my flight, but still parking for a few hours)
Various other exps (airport food, convience store, etc.) = $50

Total for ROUND 1 = $2,722.05

Round 2:
Air Canada = $576.57
Expedia Hotel = $122.77
Procedure = $1640
Pizza from hotel dinner (yum) = $25
Tip to shuttle driver = $20 (5 hour drive back across the border )
Taxi from hotel to airport = $25
Various other exps (airport food, convience store, etc.) = $50
Parking = $56

Total cost for ROUND 2 = $2,515.34

TOTAL COST 2 PMMA Sessions = $5,237.39

Sure seems like a small price to pay for feeling more confident. Congrats sizemic. If the ladies continue to respond to the bigger size being good we might bust the idea that size doesn't matter. All i can say is stay cool and don't let that go to your head. lol.

@size why 1640,I thought it was 1500.00. And your so detailed, I'm using your threads as my guide. I emailed wade yesterday looking at dates. He told me they only do procedures Tuesday - Friday and one Saturday a month. He cautioned me against Saturday cause it takes so long to cross the border. I think my date is going to be august 12 because I just got my work schedule yesterday and I'm off that weekend. So I won't have to rush back to nyc, ill have some down time.

There are additional costs if you use a shuttle service between San Diego and Tijuana ($100) and somewhere between $40-$50 for medications (antibiotics, etc), which explains the costs on top of the quoted $1500 for a full round.
