You could very well be witnessing a segment of size queens, as well as those intrigued in the novelty of it all. It could also have to do with demographics/region. Like you said yourself, $150k in NYC may not be an eye-opener, but if I posted a huge boost in height & income in my profile's area, I'd suspect a huge increase in profile views. There is no doubt that some women prefer and/or enjoy the idea of a bigger penis but the idea that it's high on their list of priorities due to a small-sample dating experiment is a stretch.
