Has it effected your sex drive? also how long before you stared to see results?

I just completely bic'd my head. It's such a bad look I don't think I can go out walking around with my bald head. It looks pathetic. Anyone have success with propecia besides kingpin?

Medilock, I write this as someone who stood in your exact shoes.
I took propecia for 1 year, and had some sides. Yes I did look fabulous and uber sexy as miracle puts it. I did have a full libido, but my body didn't always respond. I Went off of it for a while. Everything went back to normal, as is the case most often. I decreased my dose, which is working fine for now. However I still consider not taking it. I was just at a bar and saw myself in the mirror. Thought I might look better with a 1 shaved head.

In your situation medilock, I really don't think age and baldness have a correlation with your ability to pick up women. To say that because you are young and bald you are screwed and won't get any chicks is irrational. Check out these guys, they could get tons of pussy. Yes, I know some of them have shaved heads, but most of those shaved heads are because they have significant hair loss.

If you have been taking propecia for at least 30 days and are taking 45 minutes to get off, or experiencing weak erections let me save you the time and tell you it probably won't get better. You can try for another 30 days if you want, but if there is no improvement after 60 days its not gonna happen.

My suggestion to a guy in your spot would be to quit the drug. Watch Fast Five, then the entire fast and furious franchise. Considering hitting the gym and make some serious diet and lifestyle changes to get down around 10% or bellow body fat and put on some lean muscle. I wouldn't recommend steroids as they will fatten your face, but I would def recommend working out and getting cut. Your gonna have to pay attention to fashion, and get some sort of style. If after taking some time off, when your sex drive returns, and you are still worried about hair loss, buy a pill cutter and try taking 1/4 of 1mg every other day.

This is kind of stupid, but I see hair on a guy is an equivalent to tits on a woman. Hair and tits play no functional role in life or sex, but a set of DD tits (lucy pinder), or full head of hair (brad pitt), are elements of physical attractiveness. That being said, there are plenty of hot women with no tits. I would fuck the shit out of mena suvari, kate bosworth, keira knightley...etc. I'm sure women feel the same way about martin kampmann, ilari sahamies, ville kinos, freddie ljungberg, matt holliday, jonathan statham, and of course vin diesal. etc. ( I mean listen to the women in the crowd in the first vid, or the hosts dripping their panties in the second. Probably soaked from 2:50 on)

Finally don't give me that, those guys are famous bullshit excuse, you would still drool over kate bosworth whether she was a movie star or a waitress. Those hosts would still get wet whether jonathan statham was a movie star or selling fake gucci bags.

But if hairloss still bugs you, like I said, after you go off fin, and everything returns to normal, consider lowering the dosage, which I do. However I still am not sure its worth the trouble and occasionally debate those thoughts I just shared.

Imagine how low your confidence would be if I were in ur 20s and losing hair and still single!! It's easy for u to say cuz u married with kids. I'm supposed to be in my prime but I got a big add bald spot like manu ginobili. Fml
In the event you don't read all of my posts, I had lost all of my hair at my temples by age 22. I was a Norwood 3 at age 25. It's just fucking HAIR! I KNOW what having a full head of hair means to a man (Duh! I had a transplant!). Guess what? I only had the front done (it's thin but so what!!!???) and the crown is all but gone. Think I'll go on Propecia? FUCK NO!!!! NEVER!!!! To jeopardize your health for the rest of your life just isn't worth it! What good is having hair (and getting women) if you can't get a damn Erection and furthermore... may not even want sex... for life? That's too heavy a price to pay in my book. I was on Propecia for 4 months before I threw that shit in the garbage! Too bad we didn't meet earlier, I could have given you two years worth of poison.

jlmb - I've been to several hair transplant Dr's in the LA area. Two of them say its too early for me to get a transplant. I have a diffuse thinning pattern so they said I might end up looking worse if I do get a transplant. Only thing they recommend I do right now is get on propecia and/or rogaine.

You are grossly misinformed. Even the insert that comes with Propecia now states that some sexual sides may persist after discontinuation. It was not there when the drug went to market. Not everyone has these side effects. Many do. There are many lawsuits against Merk for the drug Propecia. I trashed a free 2 year supply given to me by my hair restoration surgeon. I wouldn't even give that poison to an enemy of mine that suffered from hairloss. Read a few of the links. Hell, I don't care. Do as you please. Good luck.
