My procedure involves micro fat grafting ie lipoaspirate that is carefully harvested through a canula with very small holes and minimal processing. A dermal fat graft refers to taking a solid piece of dermis (the deep layer of the skin) along with subcutaneous fat in an en bloc manner. this has been done by many docs in the past with nearly universal disasterous results. It is perhaps a bit better than an alloderm procedure but never looks great and can frequently lead to fat Necrosis, calcification and unfavorable scarring. About twenty years ago a plastic surgeon named Bill Little popularized dermal fat grafting with facelifts but horrific results and complications made him abandone this in the face as well. Fat grafting is an incredibly powerful tool but must be performed carefully to avoid complications and deliver long term results. I have had the pleasure of 3+ year follow up with many of my patients and they remain satisfied with their enduring results. I recently performed a secondary fat grafting on a patient from two years ago because he was interested in more size but was very satisfied with his gains only wanting more. It is my philosophy to keep things conservative with Phalloplasty as most techniques can have horrific consequences. I am very much against PMMA and all product implantation including alloderm etc. I do perform minimally invasive ligament transection, but rarely because I think the results are so good without it. I comment more on this in a post that I just wrote in the lengthening section. I will respond to the posts that mention my name and am happy to be a resource in general to the members of this board. I will certainly answer all questions directed at me. From the post I don't want to believe her since if you see her Yelp account it shows she only made one review only. That was a negative of him 2 times in a row one on 12/28/13 and the other 11/3/14. Something is fishy about that since that's almost a year apart, if someone did that bad of a surgery why would you go back again? I try to see if reviews are real if someone just created account to give one positive review, or all positive or all negative since then they would be considered somewhat fake reviews . With realself at least a good amount of people show before/after pic of their operations, unfortunately not the penis enlargment but other surgeries Some other sites like doctorbase verify who is reviewing Only if we had someone who had personal experience with this doc to be able tell if positive or negative and if negative what was the issue? They are very clear contour irregularities even in a 2D photo. If you are happy with it great. I see loads of results on here I don't think look very good, but the member who had it done is happy and that's the main thing. But in your case it does raise a contradiction as you suggested he was a perfectionist and that the fat transfer was permanent. If it's permanent then why are there are uneven areas? Either part of the transfer has already absorbed or Dr Maerks idea of perfection is pretty untypical. I was wondering if anyone had any experience from him? I emailed him questions which he answered really fast and was nice enough to answer. I might think of making an appointment once I get the money to afford operation. Is the surgery permanent and what is required after operation? As in is their any stretching involved, when to resume physical activity,etc...? The results are lasting. Grafted fat will remain in place for life however as the rest of your body ages it will also. There is no special postoperative care other than avoiding pressure on the area and avoiding vigorous friction for ideally six weeks however most patients resume sexual activity in two to three weeks 2. What's the maximum increase in length can be achieved? This is dependent on features of the individual patient's anatomy. The Flaccid length and Girth can double and sometimes even more and of course sometimes less. 3. I tried to do further research on the fat transfer, and while most mentioned just Girth only and not length, some of the articles mentioned the fat gets absorbed meaning loss of the fat. Is this true? And how is the length part achievable thru this process? Also is the glans slightly increase? Fat transfer is rarely performed on a manner that avoids complications and delivers Lasting results thus it has developed a bad name. I achieve consistent results and avoid complications by using a meticulous and somewhat unique technique. There is not significant absorption over time in my practice. There is a reduction in size from the immediate postoperative swollen result to two weeks after when the swelling is resolved but immediately postoperative the result is way too huge to be acceptable to most. Some of the fat is placed in the vicinity of the ligament and pushes the penis away from the body. The fat in the shaft also further stents it out. I increase the size of the glans using "micro fat". A delicately harvested cellular slurry as thicker fat cannot be injected into the glans. 4. Is Erection size also increased? And is the quality feel natural? Since some fat transfer reviews mention mushy type feeling. Most of my patients are beyond satisfied and I have never had a complaint about the penis feeling unnatural. 5. If few people had experience in regards to penis enlargement that was negative and was consistent then ofcourse I would want to stay away from him, but if you basing on a Yelp review from a reviewer that doesn't even seem consistent then it's not a valid argument to say stay away from him or that he is good.
