If someone does not ask direct questions and get direct answers from their doctor, then they are relying on others, this board for example, for their answers. These people cannot then say "the doctor hid XYZ from me." If a potential patient only relies on this or any other board for their research, they are doing themselves a disservice. Although this is a great board full of very knowledgeable members, it is not a substitute for direct doctor/patient conversation.
I don't know, I think the Dr.'s tell you what you want to hear. As an example, I was initially considering the Elist implant procedure, and all I ever heard from his office was: "We can help, just take a look at our before/after pictures, blah, blah, blah." There was no mention of any problems, etc.. Luckily I found this place, and heard the same thing when I contacted Dr. C: "oh yeah, we can help, just take a look at the before/after pictures, blah, blah, blah."
I just so happened to have had my 1st procedure scheduled a week before they were getting LinneaSafe(?), and I asked them if I should wait because I heard it was better and more consistent than Metacrill. "Oh no, they're the exact same, no need to delay your appt." Who knows if that's true or not. Then when I had issues after my initial procedure, I emailed them with my concerns, and after waiting several weeks for a response, I was told to schedule another appt, so they can try and correct the issues with a 2nd round.

I understand where you are coming from with this. What guys looking into this as an option need to understand is that this is really not an exact science yet. It may never be. But right now, the "perfect" mix of concentration and amount, coupled with technique and aftercare, has yet to be set in stone. It is still a learning process for everyone involved. In effect, every guy that gets it done is another one to evaluate and see if the change made things better or worse.
I think that y'all are right that the when the number of cc's injected increases, so does the probability of something going wrong. Guys achieving a .5" increase in Girth certainly have less risk than guys trying to add 1.5"+. However, risks are present with even 1 cc.

I agree 100%, and I hope I don't come across as implying you shouldn't be posting about your experience. The fact is that everyone should be achieving similar results as yours, and my problem is that I feel as if the results are getting worse. This procedure should be straight forward and simple, with virtually no complications. It's a great thing that can truly help a lot of men feel so much better about themselves.
I don't believe Dr. C is keeping things from his patients, but I feel that maybe they're not being entirely upfront about the issues with the product and/or procedure. Why do they keep changing the way they do things, and the amount they inject? It doesn't make sense unless the product keeps changing.
EDIT: I want to make it clear that I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from doing this, and I feel that Dr C is trying to get the best results he can, but I DO want new people to understand the potential risks & complications that might arise. I also want people to know the results are inconsistent at best, & no one really knows the long term effects.

Re: Dr. C
10 years 11 months ago #1288479686You are right, the most popular posts always get the most attention and end up at the top. This is why it is important for people to read, read, read and not just skim the first couple of progress reports. There are all sorts of outcomes, potential pitfalls, etc. that someone can experience. Just seeing the most impressive results will give a skewed view of the real-life potential.
I have nothing but good things to say about the guys with Dr. C, and I am satisfied with my outcome, but guys really need to realize that the results that Guy A gets, good or bad, are not necessarily the results Guy B will experience.

I am at 4.25-4.5 Girth and it affecting every aspect of my life. I have extreme sexual anxiety and it's really been holding me back in pursuing relationships. I'm seriously considering surgery and have heard good anecdotes about a Dr. C. I sent Dr. Casavantes an email.
Another thing that concerns me, how do I know this website isn't just a marketing tool for these doctors? The results from Dr. C seem almost too good to be true. Sex within weeks, very natural looks, why does surgery have such a bad reputation if this doctor can perform miracles?
Thanks
You could try reading some of the threads. It doesn't sound as if you have.
Where have you heard these "good anecdotes?"

You need to read more progress reports. I don't want to knock Dr. C, but the results are inconsistent at best. Even with the same person having multiple rounds. It's a crapshoot. Maybe you'll gain a half-Inch, maybe an Inch, or maybe you'll gain nothing. Maybe it will look normal, maybe it will look uneven, maybe you'll have a big circ ring, maybe you'll have nodules and lumps, or maybe you'll have several problems at once.
I can tell you this, there are very few people that have had this procedure, and it looks completely normal. I can also tell you that if you're gay, the chances are the men you're with will notice. If you're straight, some women might notice, and you'll have to think of an excuse to tell them, so they don't suspect it's a STD.
This is your Dick. This is the only Dick you have. Read all the negative reports, and then tell me that this is some miracle, or a marketing site for the Dr. C. Tell me if you'll be okay with the chance that your Dick will never again look and feel "normal", or at worst that you might have to have additional procedures (surgery) to remove hard lumps, nodules, or even deglove your Dick to remove all of it?
Maybe ask why this procedure isn't more common? I mean, if it's some "miracle" than why doesn't every plastic surgeon offer it? Why are you traveling to Tijuana Mexico to do it? Would you elect to go to Tijuana to have a "plastic surgeon" give you a nose job or a face lift, yet you don't even think twice about having them touch your Dick?
Also, why is it that in the past year it seems as if there's a definite trend of the results going down, and the number of problems going up? I'm not trying to tell you not to do it. It's up to you, but you should at least ask yourself these questions, and do some more research.

I barely even got growth from R2. I don't even think there are many reports of people getting 10% in R2 and having noticeable growth.
Ya well after reading all the reports and especially yours it made me take a step back as to being pushy to what I wanted mentally rather than what my body might need. Hats off you to you sir for sharing your journey and making me see the light at least.
I have decided I dont care if it takes 5 years ... the slow way is the better way from all the reports I read and the Dr knows better than me.
