Re: Planning on PMMA, please advise on latest tech
10 years 11 months ago #1288353055I havent see to many bad cases and the ones that i did read were due to other issues and infections. overall it seems safe if you do it in moderation and over time you get a very nice looking result but if after my 3rd round the filler is still like liquid i would not want to do it if thats the case. Can anyone advise on that?

10 years 11 months ago #1288280402I'll try and answer your questions the best I can, but really you need to spend much more time doing your own research. Read everything you can and don't just focus on the positives. In my opinion, after thorough research, the vast majority of men should conclude that it simply isn't worth the risk.
I don't think anyone can say who is the most experienced with PMMA. But I'd imagine in terms of using it to enlarge the penis, then one of the Brazilian Dr's would be the most experienced. Preference is an individual thing based on your own criteria.
There is a Dr in New York that offers Artefil for penis enhancement. Though technically it's not called Artefill anymore. Given your location it's worth considering giving him a call. I can't remember his name off the top of my head, but if you use the search function you should be able to find him. I'm unsure if Artefil is any safer than the South American brands, as it uses a different carrier, but I the beads are more consistent apparently.
I'm unsure if Dr C offers Artefil.
I have no idea, ask the most experienced Dr's who offer PMMA.
You wont gain any length.
I've not seen any scars.

Either way he uses HA as a filler and it's $350 per cc which is too expesive for no to small gains. I am now focused on Dr. C but I am disappointed that he only offers Metacrill. I have heard too many negative opinions on this filller due to it's uneven particle sizes. I am really stuck at this point.
What problems have you seen due to uneven particle size? How would you know that is the reason for problems? Look at Artefill, that has more even particle size and there are loads of complaints about lumps and bumps and that is only used is tiny amounts. So it's highly unlikely the particle size is the reason behind the issues we've seen with it used in the penis.
In my opinion the issues we've seen are far more likely to be down to the amount and concentration injected. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's PMMA, fat, HA or any other type of filler, at the volumes being used in the penis, you are going to see issues with lumps etc.
if I were you, I'd just do nothing. Wait a couple of years and see what's going on in the world of PE then. Patience is your best friend in this business.

I believe the NY doctor is either Dr. Lori (has a NY office but maybe operating in FL) or Dr. Elliot. I do not know of their experience or skill.

10 years 11 months ago #1288315291Results were in line with what you read here. EG went from 4.7 to 5.2.
The Dr. asked me what my priorities were. I told him that I trusted him and to do what he thought was best. He put in 20 CCs of 30% and 4.5 CCs of 10%.
I was extremely happy with the entire process and the results.
Best of luck!

10 years 11 months ago #1288403888thanks for the info and i have been reading for over 2 years now on it and following everything.
i just recently read 2 peoples post that it was still kinda liquid like is why i asked that because most of the progress reports i read were that it eventually did exactly as you said and stays solid more so than liquid like.
i just dont want after 6 months or a year for it to just still be liquid like and i have to move it around or w/e.
glad to know it doesnt do that.
my point for getting it is because i want a thicker penis but not all crazy thick and the main reason is so it hangs better because of its lack of weight and thickness it tends to shrivel up ... i am a Grower not a shower for sure but i figured this would help that along with a ADS.

The best way to make sense of this is to try to find histopathology of artecoll vs. artefill...and compare them to each other and to this.
The other guy who got linnea safe when I did had no issues.
My Dermatologist recently said to me that he thinks I had too much put in, and he's had women who get artefill added over and over, and then they start getting lumps. But, I haven't seen that on this board at all. My theory is that some kind of network of collagen developed with the existing metacrill implant, and the linnea safe implant 6 months later just couldn't stick to it or stay under it. I literally have one normal metacrill implant on my buck's fascia and then a bunch of lumps at my injection sites bound to my Dartos fascia...it's like the product got squeezed out and formed nodules (rather quickly) at the injection sites - which were still ther 4.5 months later, full size.
I think irregular particule size is more of a trigger for inflammation and granulomas than for nodules...from what I recall.
You wouldn't want to see this in your slides (this is Dermalive):
These photos are from the two nodules shown here. They were very firm bundles of collagen, similar to the texture of chewed gum that has been left out. They did not respond to injections (you can see the needle track in one of them actually - but that's the best it did...leave a track).
Note that the top one is the one that caused all the problems. The bottom one, though larger, was isolated and the wound closed immediately. The top one created a 2 month mess.

Re: Planning on PMMA, please advise on latest tech
10 years 11 months ago #1288354525For all practical purposes, PMMA is basically tiny plastic beads suspended in a carrier (fluid). The carrier is absorbed by the body within a few days and your body, over time, replaces this with your own collagen.
This is why you have to pay special attention to it for the first three days or so after receiving it. After that, it is pretty much set in place where it will be, lumps, bumps, divots and all. That is the reason behind keeping it extended, massaging it and trying your best to even it out as often as possible within the first few days. Any imperfections are set after that but you can have them addressed with a touch up if you feel the need.
Please make sure you are knowledgeable about the procedure, possible outcomes, etc before you bite the bullet.
