Good news - My erection looks fairly decent (considering the stage I am at & what I went through). Obviously, it has a ways to go & might look totally different in 3 months. But, it is starting off well. The scar is certainly a raised roll of skin, but it will probably flatten. It's cut very precisely, though there's a small "dog ear" due to the skin needing to come out on the right but not the left. This will probably flatten, but Hoddle sent me an interesting youtube that shows it wouldn't be complicated to fix 3-6 months from now if it is still there. There is quite a bit of darkening / discoloration on the incision line...I wonder why that is appearing now, 10 days later. It didn't seem to be there earlier on.

Bad news - That jackass doctor who burned my balls off & basically led to me needing this surgery (because he used silver nitrate on the wound) has more fake reviews posted (after realself removed 2 already). From the start...to give some perspective. Sometimes I wonder if my penis even looks better than 2010. Yeah, it's bigger - but it looks like it has the same degree of aesthetic problems that I sent the last 5 years trying to fix.

just to clarify, the left pic is before any peyronies started in 2006. In 2010, the first symptom was this localized narrowing where the scar tissue developed. I have more pics of the upward curve in my journal. The narrowing ended up "traveling" down my whole shaft (it's easier to see in the journal but I just wanted to give a couple brief comparisons here). So, I ended up with 4" girth at my low point, though some returned naturally over the 3 years.



Then...




After Peyronie's surgery and 2 rounds with Dr. C vs 3 rounds with Dr C (plus excisions)... So, obviously round 3 was a huge mistake...

It curves to the right because of missing skin on the right side. Ignore the tape - it's from a small skin scraping he did.




Both pictures are after round 3. the nodule that was present immediately after the procedure persisted and became very hard and fibrotic, despite kenalog and 5fu (which may have helped slightly but not much). It was excised because it prevented the other excision from healing.

I'm wondering if at some point a small skin graft from your thigh maybe necessary to fill in the 2 Inch gap. To what success, i'm not sure, but a 2 Inch wide wound with significant depression is noticeable for you and any future partner. When you have a larger allowance, I would consult a plastic surgeon. Right now as its healing it may be the right time to consider a skin graft. I don't want you to feel that you are part of some sewing circle where random suggestions are being afforded to you, take a short walk if it doesn't provide too much discomfort and clear your mind and set a plan.

I was just curious if you had to have the peyronies surgery in 2006 ? I read that if it is less than 45 deg you can leave it alone.. ? The bend looks pretty small but it might be the camera angle.

How long do the Sutures have to remain in? As soon as they are out I'd start using silicone gel sheets. They really do work. And as usual, I'd also use DMSO, but not until the wound it completely healed. I think you need to do everything you can to ensure the scar tissue is as soft and pliable as possible. We have a member called Bonehead, who had Necrosis and had to have a flap technique based surgery on his shaft, which obviously meant lots of Sutures and scarring. But the last time I spoke to him, he said it actually healed really well. I think the penis does tend to scar well. When you consider that most circ scars are totally flat and soft, it makes sense the rest of the shaft would heal equally as well.

Wow - RealSelf took a blowtorch to that string of messages lol. I do have screen shots of all of her comments - but I didn't take screen shots of the fake reviews. The IDFPR would have disciplined him for posting fake reviews...so I am upset that I missed the two of them. RealSelf would not provide me any "evidence" that fake reviews existed and were deleted (I asked) but they might provide it to the IDFPR.

Before this woman started this weirdo attack on me, I was getting over my whole interaction with him. Now that he's posting fake reviews and having staff members harass me online after the shit I've been through - he started a whole new problem.

I emailed him telling him I would appreciate it if he'd tell her to stop replying to me - and I went through his notes, calling out all his bullshit (his 5 psychiatric comments in the notes, yet NO information on the silver nitrate!).

I wouldn't trip on it too bad. It's still a good Dick and looks to be a good size. I'm sure you are your own worst critic.

I had an upward bend of 60 degrees -- you can see before and after pics in my journal (click the "part 1 below"). That was in 2010-2013 though

That left bend is due to the camera angle or something. I don't know why it looks like that. It was totally normal then. I had PD surgery in 2013. I didn't have PD in that pic. The narrowing / hinge effect started in 2010 when PD started. It was normal in 2006. Maybe that's not the best pic ,but it was hard to find old Dick pics.

Thanks guys! Stitches are coming out soon... and I guess vertical mattress Sutures are known to scar more, but whatever. It is what it is at this point.

Hoodle - that Foreskin tape was some serious oragami...lol. I have to take a closer look at that later on if I need it . I hope not ... I'll ask them what they think. I tried to set up a phone consult with Alter, but I'm still waiting. I just wanted his opinion, and it's not that expensive.

Thats ok Bigben, I read his story - and he had multiple infections and procedures that must have made all of the tissue non-viable by the end.

I'd say the main thing to learn fro this is not to try to access PMMA from in the shaft and if you DO - you MUST have the doc evert the skin edges when closing so it stays closed ("evert" means to fold the inside up to meet the other side). And no silk Sutures (which are never used anyway) since those don't hold and cause reactions. Simple Sutures run the risk of letting the PMMA tissue (which is apparently "all over the place" and seemed to piss off my Urologist who has been at this for 30+ years) prevent normal wound closure.

My last surgery was this morning. He took out the final nodules that wouldn't heal. The initial attempt to remove them created a bizarre shell of swelling and scar tissue. It's so fucked up.

I lost 2 cm more of vertical skin on the right side...adding to a total of about 4 cm lost on the right... jesus. He wouldn't take anything off on the left to compensate. He clipped the dog ear I had on top. Bandage comes off weds.

He thinks stretching devices will help, but if I need grafting - he recommended Dr. Alter.

No phones allowed in the OR...so this is all I got



wow. if I never did round 3... I can't even think about it.

6 moths of this nightmare.

I should have been degloved and had the nodules dissected out.
