There are no accurate nor scientific studies that one can really believe in just like there are NO studies about the average pleasurable vagina size either (that I am aware of). It would be very interesting to see a study about what is a good vagina size/shape that men like, the results may be just as confusing the women as those penis size results are to men! Average stretched penile length was reported as 107.1mm (4.2") in the infertile group and 119.5mm (4.7") in the fertile group. The standard deviation also implies that 95% of men in the infertile group were between 61.1-153.1mm (2.4-6.0") long whilst the range for the fertile group was 74.1mm-164.9mm (2.9-6.5"). Each stretched penis was measured from base to tip with the men in the frogged-leg position. The way it was described suggests non-bone pressed measurements. I have certainly caught glimpses of many penises longer when flaccid and unstretched than even the top end of these clinical measurements at gym and pool changing facilities but I suspect those who flaunt it are probably "showers" and know they are in the top 2.5% in terms of length. Stretched is very close to erect length so I suspect the average really is closer to 5". The only odd thing was the text reported that they measured 56 fertile men but the table says 75 fertile men were included in the study. 97 infertile men were included. The men were all recruited from clinic but for the fertile men (who presumably are attending the clinic for other unstated reasons) the ones who agreed to be measured are perhaps less shy of their anatomy. This may be the reason they are bigger, or perhaps whatever the urologists set out to study does have an impact on fertility, penis size, testicle size and "anogenital distance". Interestingly there was no difference in semen volume with an average of 2.7ml (95% of the men produced between 0.3-5.1ml). Furthermore, for those pictures and porn films we do see, even those sizes are not quite what they seem (angles, lenses, camera tricks, and just blatant exaggeration or lies about size). It's possible these instances have distorted our idea of a "true average." I've seen photos of penises at 6.5" EL that could have easily convinced a naive woman that it was an 8-incher. Would be interesting to read those articles and understand how the used samples were constructed (size, design, etc.) As a side note, it might not be a well known fact that the use of statistics in medical research is appalling. Put crudely, physicians even if academics usually receive a rather poor training in statistics. Even IF it is accurate, the paper says they were given injections to induce erection...those injections don't make the head hard...and they don't give you a 100% boner...so they need to add some caveats to this chart. Think about it, how many guys with small (in their minds) penises are willing to let someone measure them? Now how many guys with average to large penis lenths are willing to let someone measure them? The guys with the big cocks are not ashamed to whip it out, even the guys that are average. If there is going to be a study I would say most of the no shows or not want to participate guys are smaller guys. I think You might get a somewhat accurate study if it was done on cadavers bpfsl. not sure if rigor mortice would have an effect though, would have to wait til it subsides.
