I'm one of those people. What has worked for me is forcing myself to take a 10 minute break every hour and wrapping the head (up to but not over the corona) with a soft cotton dressing. This helps to alleviate moisture and provides a cushion instead of airspace. Make sure you leave no air in the silicone cup. Do NOT use a traction force that is too high! Only a nice "tug" is required. Wear it as often as possible but don't sleep with it on. I get 8-9 hours in at work and another 3-4 at home and I alternate legs. When I lay down at night to sleep, I use a shoulder harness and stretch straight up for another hour. Still gaining albeit slower. As an educated person, the theory behind this seems sound, although I can't help but fear this is a waste of time. Feel free to offer some encouragement if you've had some success with this.
