So far, it sounds like the Linea Safe will be available with Dr C in May. That is really soon.
Let's all push for Linea Safe.

No. It may help Flaccid hang albeit minimally.

Is there a way to find out if Linnea safe contains EDTA?

I'm in the process of making the decision between Metacrill and Linnea safe.

Whatever I choose, I'll document the results ... If it wasn't for this forum Id be walking around with an Elist implant...

is there no chance he is planning to switch to the new product (Linea Safe, or whatever it is called)?
I am hoping so. I emailed Wade re alternatives to Metacril and the concerns over quality.
The long term effects of small particles is related to granulomas. It is suspected that 1 of 20 may develop them with Metacril between 5-10 years.

Didn't Lemperle say in a reply to Smartman that a later version of NP was pretty much pure anyway? I suspect these products are continually evolving, only they can't relaunch every time they make an improvement. I doubt Linea is actually much, if any, different to the NP Dr has been using for the last year. I seriously doubt their engineering and production took such giant steps forward in the short space of time NP was off the market. They've probably been steadily improving it for years and following the patent issues which caused them to cease production, they've simply rebranded.

Having participated in these "complications" thread, chats, PMs and emails I know why most members are confused by them so I will leave these simple facts:

Most of us that get the penis procedure will not have a FBG or any other complcation.
Some of us that have the procedure done will get a FBG.The debate is over the exact size of most and some which at the end of the day is pretty silly when there is very little facts.

If you end up falling into the some group, and make no mistake a handfull of us will in the next 1 to 10 years, make sure you are able to live and deal with it. At that point theoritical complication rates are meaningless!

Before anyone has this procedure, please look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself this question. "Am I prepared to deal with and live with the consequences of getting a FBG"?

I can't see how Metacril could actually "hold" better than NP. I think it's probably just a coincidence that a few members have noticed this. The carrier surely wouldn't make any difference, other than possibly in terms of bead distribution and the beads will be the same. I just can't think of any logical reason why it would be any different.

Hi HC,

Man I love this forum, I am really addict to it lol, even if I am in my holidy at the moment.
I do understand what you mean, thats what Dr. Samy told me about Metacrill contains EDTA and NP does not ( sure he is bias for Metacrill and I am not sure if he is telling the truth or not) but thats what i have gathered some information about EDTA but about the tween in Artefill I am 100 % sure about their function beside the strong bovine collagen carrier , but let us think about it this way :-
Lets say if you had in your 2nd rd the best PMMA product ( i.e. Artefill which has the most pure beads, a stronger longer lasting carrier bovine collagen and contains tween 80+20) instead of Metacrill 20% ----> you can still get nodules or even lumps ( as we know FDA does not approve Artefill to be injected in a dynamic organ (e.g. lips) ) even if Artefill injected in a non-dynamic area e.g. naso-labial fold they can produce nodules or lumps, imo these tween or EDTA they can help in small degree but they cannot prevent it. Could it be the 20% mixture is the reason i dont know?? The best thing is to try find someone who had NP 1st rd 10% and in the 2nd rd also NP but 20% and to compare it with the metacrill. If we could also compare the 20% and the 30% results esp. In the 2nd rd.s.
I am always interested to find the best way how to get the most pleasant aesthetic result from PMMA ( which we all understand it will be almost impossible) ;

10% with a smaller volume i.e. less than 20 cc.s, still i am thinking about the korean technique directly post injection to homogenize the filler with a roller, and to even any nodules or irregularities and the doctor should queeze them between the tip of the thumb and the index of his fingers in the clinic before wrapping the penis with an elastic bandages ( they are using it for many years of-course the difference here they use a temporary filler but they must have got great aesthetic results). It will be always a learning curve for the doctor and for us too.

I still think I should wait for the newer cleaner version, but how long?

Has anyone else spoken to them about when they may get it in?
Out of curiosity, what makes you think Linnea Safe is the "newer cleaner version?" It's pretty much a remake of New Plastic, and most of these "questions of purity" are more speculative than definitive.

I think you've missed a post in which Lemperle cleared things up. The last NP he tested was like the new Linea Safe, which is my point. The rebranding wasn't done due to improvements in the product itself, but other reasons.

I read that post, its the one i linked in previous post.

Lemperle:
"Good question ! I had requested PMMA samples from all 4 Brazilian manufacturers (with the help of Flavio Borges) in 2006. And these results were then published by Piacquadio in 2008. All contained > 50 % smaller particles.
In December 2010 I got a PMMA sample of NewPlastic in Mexico from the NewPlastic dealer of Casavantes, and this looked clean like the present Linnea Safe and probably is from the same PMMA manufacturer (in Korea, China or Europe).Whether this cleaner PMMA has been suspended since in NewPlastic by the same company Lebon, Porto Alegre, I do not know. Anyway, NewPlastic is removed from the market , and Linnea Safe now contains this cleaner PMMA.
Sorry for the confusion, and best regards,Gottfried"

He couldnt make himself a rhym about it. Maybe this cleaner pmma has not been used in the NP, because of the leftovers of the rawmaterial for the older NP, that had to be used.
If NP and Linea safe would be the same then why do they look diffrent under the microscope. Diffrent concentration ?
what Concentration are NP and Meta microscope pics ?
Adjustment distance?
Im asking because i dont know. Anyone has the answer to the concentrationquestion.

Lemperle:"Anyway, NewPlastic is removed from the market , and Linnea Safe now contains this cleaner PMMA."

So even if we assume "ok NP could have been as good as this New Linea Safe" (what i dont think ;D ) then it is now
Metacrill vs Linea Safe and if Dr Casavantes is only using Meta now, instead of the old same quality that NP might have had, and Linea has now. Then Metacrill is still a step backwards in quality.

And i would want at least to keep the old quality/purity standard by using Linea Safe. (If its not even a improvement)
Mainpoint i guess.
He should at least offer it as an option for patients!

I received a Q. from one of the member here to Lemperle and I have just got the answer from Lemperle :-
"In December 2010 I got a PMMA sample of NewPlastic in Mexico from the NewPlastic dealer of Casavantes, and this looked clean like the present Linnea Safe and probably is from the same PMMA manufacturer (in Korea, China or Europe).
Do you think he means that Newplastic is not only manufactured in Brazil? Put differently, is it the case that Lebon laboratories outsource production (of Newplastic) abroad? In Korea, etc.

Could you ask Dr Lemperle about this?
No, the injectable PMMA products are all manufactured in Brazil. However, the crude PMMA bone cement, which was used so far in all products, has been manufactured in Germany. Now, the manufacturer of past NewPlastic and new Linnea Safe in Porto Alegre is using a new almost clean PMMA - and this has to be purchased in Korea or China . Since PMMA microspheres are mainly produced for paints, there are no 100 % clean microspheres on the market, unfortunately. All should be washed and cleaned (which is a very complicated process).A patient or distributor cannot judge whether a product is clean: one has to take it under the microscope ! But subdermal under the penile skin I have not heard of any granuloma formation after PMMA: only in the face !

That are some of your thoughts of what could be. Your kinda saying NP/Meta is the exact same product then Linea Safe.

My thoughts of what could be is diffrent.
If it its the same Company producing NP/Meta and now Linea Safe (as Lemperle guesses but does not know, as all of us) then those manufacturers probably have Leftovers from NP/Metacrill, which still need to be sold to make profit out of it. Maybe for a lower price then the new product.

Even/despite (fuking english conversation) tho they might have now their new purer version of the product ready.

I guess the safest source, we can relie on is Prof Dr Lemperle.
And he says Linea Safe is alot more pure then the other products (NP/Meta) and with that more likely to be used without the result of FBG (granuloma).

Im def more willing to get pmma injection with a product that is considered more clean according to Dr Lemperle.

it is all well and good that Linnea safe is a new generation product; however, in contrast to Newplastic and Metacrill (used by Dr C. for years), Linnea safea's complication rate is not known. By definition.
hoddle10 wrote: It would be good if everyone who is/was planning on getting the job done soon to write Dr C. about the "demand" of using Linea Safe.

everyone? bad idea! not sure the good doctor would welcome the spamming :-)

We are never complete with knowledge. We have no testimonies yet that fact(forumwise), but i doubt Linea safe has gotten worse then other products, and has now new risks. (possible tho but not even i am that skeptic)

Well rather enough people to make him aware of the patient orientation, then too few people. And most likely people who havent gotten NP or Meta because those people care more about it i guess. Remeber ONE penis !
We were always, more or less in the freaking dark.

Interesting quote from another board. Womens augmentation and mention of Dr C. Metacril used...

Re: CONSIDERING PMMA INJECTIONS? by jenfromzen ' Sat Sep 25, 2010 1:51 pm I don't think anyone looking for info cares much for blog fights, is shame people have to not get along when trying have discussions. I can just speak from my experience of having 4 session of pmma injection on the hips in Tijuana with Dr. C. It is still painful even tho it has been 3 years. I don't know if pain equals inflammation, but what I can't explain then, is why is it warm to the touch? My hips are almost hot all the time where the filler is. To me inflammation does always have a warmth to it. So it does bug me this odd warmth, along with how delicate I have to be because lying on it is stil painful, the nodules and so forth. And if I'm older and have hip problems that elderly people have, I'm realizing a doctor can't even take an mri of my hip to see the problem because the pmma blocks the view. How do I know this? Because they have already noted presence of unknown substance blocking view when I had my hamstring mri done, that is a pelvic mri, which shows upper hamstring and hips and so I already know they couldn't get a full view of my hip so I guess god help me in the future if I ever have a lot of hip pain and they can't see what is wrong without some invasive surgery procedure.

But, I did what I had to do because I literally was mistaken for a man in the past and my life is embarrassing and unhappy not having the shape of a woman so despite the pain and unusual warmth, oh and I didn't mention before the new blue veins I have showign thru the hips where no women have visible veins, not that pretty a site in a bathing suit, veins over there! I'm still trying figure out how to get the figure I want. But sometimes I do wonder if the pmma is making me sicker. My health has declined since then, I've figured I have fms/cfs. I can just have almost no energy, I sneeze a lot but have been allergy tested 3 times and they can't find me allergic, but I feel like I have a cold day after day so I just don't know. Maybe is just non allrgic rhinitis that is really bad and my nose just sensitive, but the warmth over the pmma area is a curious thing. I def wish the pmma was the miracle I had wanted it to be instead of wrought with problems. I just feel tired all the time, but I really couldn't say is the pmma. I have had all sorts of blood tests so if there were unusual inflammation wouldn't that have shown up in some sort of test? I even had arthritis blood test done and I thought that had to do with inflammation and that was negative, don't have that. But I am warned all the time that the pmma can be dormant infections and if aggravated in some way, it can become actively infected. I don't know. I just still want to get that shape that I want so I may be forced to try more pmma if nobody can start me over with a new type of filler now that I already have all this pmma.

And then I just found a doctor in So California I think, doing hip implants, after all this, now there is such a thing. But I saw only one photo on his website, a Dr. Chugay, and it is almost more of thigh implants, it is like lower hips to thighs where he puts it and I thought it a bit odd, I don't know if I would have wanted that either and the implants in my butt hurt like hell so what do hip implants feel like? But interesting tho that there is such a thing now if you like the placement of it. To me the hips go all the way up to the waist, like to the belly button and her hip implants began way below the belly button so it sorta widened mostly the lower butt/thighs area, it doesn't give you a wider upper hip like where the top of the hip bone would sit. I dunno, can have a look yourself I guess:

www.bodyimplants.com/hip-implant-photos.html

I also foudn this site about pmma in South America and they don't state which dr they use there, but they have some amazing before/after photos, couple of them really remind me of me for a change, couple really show some manly looking women being turned into curvy women, and I like the way they show the before as being 2004 and the after 2007 so they show you that this takes time, u can't get that kind of huge change overnight. But I was glad to finally see someone in the before whose figure somewhat remind me of myself, someone with almost no curve.

www.internationalsurgery.com/index.php

But has anyone heard of this group? I wonder who they use, I guess I have to contact them, if I think I am stuck with pmma as my o
nly choice to continue, then health risks or not, I have to see if they can just finish off what I started hopefully without making me any worse off than I am now. I jut do feel my health has declined but could be lots of reasons, maybe when I left my last gym and didn't rejoin anything, I have to join a gym again, try get up my energy levels, try not feel so sick all the time. jenfromzen Posts: 5Joined: Mon Mar 17, 2008 6:47 am
