I am looking for guys who have had PMMA and who are in the Los Angeles local area to speak with. If you recall I had implant surgeries with Dr. Elist (penis and scrotal). I had the penile implant removed like many men. I also had 1" decrease in Erect length (original Erect was around 8" and is now around 7"). I am very wary of going in for another procedure before really researching it. I've already talked to a few guys who have had the Elist implant and then subsequently PMMA and they seem happy. I'm going to throw this out there. I would really like to feel how the PMMA feels in the penis before getting it. I feel so deceived by Elist that I need to be sure. I was pretty much decided that I would get the Elist implant but after hearing all the horror stories associated with it I decided it wasn't worth it. I'm now considering PMMA but I quite honestly don't know anything about it. My main concern is that it is permanent and synthetic. Synthetics can sometimes be rejected by the body and as I understand it PMMA would be very hard to remove entirely. Another concern I have is the feel of it. Does it feel like muscle as some have said or dose it have the same squishy feeling that fat injections give? I'm also in the Los Angeles area and was wondering if anyone could explain it to me. If anyone could help me out it would be a real help. Thank You. If you spend a few hours reviewing all the PMMA-related threads both on the old & new forum, you'll find most (if not all) your questions answered. Sure, it can be a lot of info to digest, but then again, it is your penis you're thinking about here, and you only get one! In the Flaccid the penis, the collagen can have a rubbery feel to it, but otherwise behaves like a Flaccid (soft), and when it becomes Erect, it becomes remarkably firm. This is at least true in my case. PMMA has been used since the early 1930's in dental prosthesis, and since 1947, when the 1st hip prosthesis was introduced. Many scientific articles on bone Repair have mentioned the chemical inertness and biocompatibility of PMMA. It is true about what you have said that PMMA is synthetic but only around 20% of the gained volume you get and the rest 80% of the gained volume is your own body tissues. It doesn't feel squishy, in Flaccid it feels firmer than fat and in my case it feels like your muscle fibres when they are relaxed (but rough) and the amazing thing about it it becomes so firm during Erection.
