 We’re seeing a concerning spike in patients coming to our clinic after receiving what they were told were “pharmaceutical grade silicone” injections for penile enhancement. The term sounds safe — even clinical — but in reality, it’s just liquid silicone oil. This same material has been flagged repeatedly by the FDA as unsafe for soft-tissue injection.

Patients are being sold on buzzwords like “collagen activation” and “minimally invasive permanent filler,” but when we perform surgical repairs, what we actually find are:
- No new collagen, only pools of silicone
- Granulomas, scarring, and nodules throughout the shaft and scrotum
- Lymphatic blockage leading to chronic swelling and sometimes irreversible damage
