In fact, this group saved me from getting the elist implant a long time ago. So first off, thank you! I've been wanting to PMMA for a very long time; however, my wife has not been supportive of me wanting to do this for a very long time. More recently, she is open to it. I was going to go to Avanti like most people here; however, I came across Imago, which is located in Salt Lake City, and for a few reasons, that was a better option. They were running a Valentine's Day special. Normally, the cost is around $9k i think, but it was discounted to $6,500. I tried to find some info on here about Dr. Barrett, but was unable to find anything, which made me a bit nervous, but I had a good consult with him, and he did refer me to two patients who had the procedure done, and both were very happy. They did go over the bad with the good (nodules and uneven areas) and also sent me before-and-after pics. Kinda weird getting sent Dick pics from dudes, but that's part of the game, I guess. During the consultation, he did make full disclosure that he used to work with Dr. Loria a long time ago, but basically said the guy was a piece of shit and he wanted nothing to do with him. so I booked my appointment for 05/13/26 which was kinda weird... I had been excited to do this for so long, but right after I booked it. i felt an immediate sense of dread and panic, which im sure are just nerves and everyone probably feels it. If anyone has any questions im happy to answer. (And as a heads up, we're currently listed as Steven L. Morganstern Urology Clinic, but I just talked to our Bellafill rep and she's going to have them update it to Morganstern-Rejuvall soon.) Also make sure to get traceability information like LOT# and/or ask to see the unopened package before they inject you to be sure what you're getting is actually PMMA. Also, as a side note, PMMA is NOT safe for glans enhancement, whether it's Bellafill or otherwise. Currently the only safe material for glans enhancement is hyaluronic acid and only in very small volume. Okay, now that you've said that, I know for sure he's using silicone. Carboxymethylcellulose is a surfactant used to thicken the silicone oil mixture, not a filler material itself. If anyone attempted to inject carboxymethylcellulose on its own, it either wouldn't go in or you would get immediately horrible results. This is also a term Loria and his affiliates have commonly been using to pass off their silicone oil concoction as legitimate since it sounds so medical. That's unfortunate. Did you explicitly tell him you were interested in PMMA injections (which would have been none other than Bellafill in the U.S.) ? I ask this because your topic's title contains "PMMA" in it, which leads me to think that's what you were also told(?). If this guy suggested that Loria was a "POS," I don't know that I'd trust a Doctor who still decided to continue the methodologies performed by said-POS. Maybe it wasn't plainly obvious, and I'm surprised he even mentioned Loria at all... the Carboxymethylcellulose and Loria in the same topic is all I needed to personally conclude silicone, and it helps that a Urological Practice feels strongly that this is the case too. As the resident patient advocate, I strongly advise against silicone oil injections of the penis, especially in high volumes in the shaft, and any at all in the glans. I am surprised to hear/read this coming from a long-time lurker who's been here since back when MNS was still active, a blast from the past no less. For those who don't know, MNS is short for MyNewSize, a now defunct website & forum that was once sort of like PhalloBoards before PhalloBoards, but sinister in their motives. In fact, the very reason this platform was created circa 2010 was in response to the corrupted, shill-infested narrative that was being peddled there, and MyNewSize eventually closed down in the early 2010's. I say this respectfully, but I thought someone like you (16+ year lurker) would be prepared better than most when it comes to spotting red flags. Unless you stopped visiting during the "Loria Era" when he got banned under suspicion of shilling, I'm surprised you didn't opt for the more historically competent providers that you knew exist. The "Loria Era" can be summed up as an infestation of online shills around the mid 2010's on [ PhalloBoards 2.0,](http://phalloboards.websitetoolbox.com) where multiple 1-post usernames with the same IP address from Boca Raton were posting glowing comments with no pictures, only to have Loria himself post briefly until he was banned. There was more to it but that is the tl;dr. You wrote *"and for a few reasons, that was a better option"* - could you elaborate on what was advantageous about it to the extent you opted for Dr. Barrett? I only ask to better understand how some might successfully convince (or manipulate) those who have background familiarity with the industry, and learn how to share that with the Community at large to improve consumer/patient awareness. I don't want to alarm you regarding the silicone, but suffice it to say, you should hold off on any further enhancement with him or that filler. I think Rejuvall's literature on the matter is worth a read in the interim. Pardon me if my inquiries were interrogative or remotely insensitive, they were not meant to be. I'm sure as you can recall, I could sometimes be a hard*ss back in the day, and I've had to temper my temper since my role here has expanded considerably. No worries I totally get it and fully expect it. One of the reasons why this group is so great. After the feed back from here I have a follow up call him on Thursday which I will relay. I am absolutely not interested in silocne . However Dr. Barrett denies using silicone or anythibg like it, and the product he uses is PMMA mixed with cmc.... when I Google thet combination it comes up as a Dermal Filler.. if this is not the case then im not sure what to kind. As for your question going to SLC is a far easier trip for me than Mexico at thr moment and the price was similar (which I know shouldnt be the deciding factor) anyways I'll update once I have the conversation. You fly to California and they drive you over the border- it's pretty seemless. Or you could pick one of the doctors on this board or read through the threads of user experiences. The affiliated doctors on this forum are legit. There was another user on here that went to a doctor nobody had heard of, and he couldn't get back his deposit when he wanted to back out after finding out it was silicone. Hotel for Avanti was $130 a night, plane ticket was about $300, airport shuttle bus was $200 and I believe Avanti's utmost package was about $4,800 but it might have gone up a little bit. You basically book with Avanti and they get you the discount for the hotel and arrange the airport shuttle from San Diego airport which is about a 30 minute ride.
