I had a follow up appointment yesterday and the doctor said everything is looking good. Swelling is going down, and my penis isn't as bruised as it was right after the surgery. I'm still experiencing some retraction, but that isn't surprising given the surgery. I haven't really had any pain, but did take Tylenol Wednesday night and Thursday to deal with a pinching feeling that I think was caused by the wrap. The doctor still has me on a high protein diet along with cranberry juice, mixed nuts, and oranges to stimulate collagen growth. The doctor told me that I will get collagen growth for six months after the procedure. He also has had me start doing some stretching exercises on the shaft.

Here are some day of before and day 5 pics I took this morning. I'll add more when there is more improvement. BTW, this posted differently than I uploaded. The two pictures to the right are obviously the before, the three pictures to the left are the afters.

It is interesting that the doctor recommends diet changes, and actually I did not read that the dermal graft could increase in size later.

The only thing I know for sure is that smokers should absolutely stop smoking after getting dermal graft. I read too many doctors doing dermal graft stressing this that it cannot be discarded.

Also I never read about any stretching exercises being needed. That thing about penile retraction I did read about however.

My guess is the surgimend reacts differently from a fat graft taken from your own body

Day 7 update: Overall things are looking better. While still not normal yet, my glans is starting to not retract as much. Swelling is coming down, with most of what is still there at the incision spot. Bruising is getting better too. Flaccid Girth is still at 5 inches. With the swelling down i measured base Girth and it is at 5.5 inches, which surprised me. With my glans not retracting as much, my flacid length is hovering between 4.75 and 5 inches, which is up from last week. I have not had an Erection yet, which at this point I am not unhappy about. I'm feeling like it will be starting to be ready to have erections later this week or sometime next. Overall my penis is starting to feel more "normal", which I'm sure will continue as it goes through the healing process.

Did Dr Liu discuss any use of hangers or other devices?

No - no discussion of hangers or other types of devices. Given the procedure, I'm not surprised at the retraction, and expect it to continue to get better over time.

21 day update - stitches came out last Thursday. Dr. Liu told me that I'm healing really nicely. I still have swelling where the incision was, but overall bruising etc. is down significantly. Veins are now starting to come through on my shaft as well. Flacid Girth still 5". I haven't had a full Erection yet, but half Erect Girth ranges from 6" mid shaft to 6.5"+ base. New flacid picture from this morning with before pic from the 12th for side by side comparison.

Nice, the veins are definitely coming through. Recovery can limit erections, I remember I could not get 100% up until I was fully healed, so this is normal for some guys.

@Skeptical_One - I figured that recovery could limit full erections - especially with the procedure I had. I think that when the swelling around the incision goes down that will help too.
