It's very important to remember that. So basically all that has changed is that now when you have sex the Nodule area gets rubbed in the same way as when you masturbate. I can't think why the bio oil would effect the tissue to the point it's causing it to now create friction, but nothing else seems to have changed. I'm no expert but I think Dr C's granuloma diagnosis is wide of the mark. I don't think he understood that nothing has changed in 5 years. Personally I think I'd want the Dr to try and break it up with a needle. I'm going to see Dr C this week and he's going to try and release some of the skin adhesions I have with a Nokor needle. I'll ask him what he thinks about using a small Nokor needle to cut nodules into pieces. From a layman's perspective, I can't see why you can't just pinch the Nodule and then literally cut it half and then quarters. Then inject the area. If it would've appeared after years, as a sore, inflamed, sensitive lesion would make me think of a granuloma instead, and the treatment of choice would've been injections of cortisone. So' think surgical extraction as the first and best option. I just sent him an email asking if I should go to his office or get it done by Dr Alter. Does he have a San Diego office or is it the same one where you have to take the shuttle at the airport? I think Dr Alter mainly does surgery in LA. I know he consults in NY, but I'm unsure if he does surgery there. So you might have to fly to LA anyway. How much is a flight to SD? Surely a procedure like that would cost less than $500 in TJ. I doubt Dr Alter picks up a scalpel for less than a couple of grand. Personally I'd ask Dr C if he can remove it or if anyone he knows (ie surgeons in TJ) can remove it. I'd fly down in the morning and leave later than night. It's going to be a tiny incision, so I see no reason why you can't just fly straight home. Dr Alter is the guy to go to if you need surgical reconstruction in my opinion. But there is no way in hell I'd pay his prices for a Nodule to be removed. That's a 20 min surgery under local anesthetic. It's about an Inch in total but one part is like a round Nodule the other is connected to it but ver thin and small. One thing I've noticed the last time it was swollen was that it gets swollen on the bottom part of my penis around that area. The part with the Nodule doesn't get swollen like the surrounding area. I wonder why? And also there is no pain when I touch it but I can tell when my penis is swollen. Ecause I can feel this sensation I can't describe. I guess that's what inflammation means I guess.
