TOPIC: Need elist implant removal support :(

Hello fellas, never thought I would ever reach out for support on an Internet forum but I'm starting to lose mind due to depression. On Monday my elist implant was removed due to infection and I think I am sexually ruined. Before the implant I was a solid 6" length and 5" Girth Erect and now I am 3" length and 4.5" Girth Erect! My flacid Is a 2.5" deformed nub and I am growing more and more depressed each day. I am a junior at a large public university known for its party scene and hook up culture and I already lost 6 months of my sexual prime getting the implant and waiting for it to heal. Now with the Removal it appears that I just threw away a year of my sexual prime and perhaps even more as I hope and pray for my penis to return.

Can those who have had their implants removed please tell me what the process is like after Removal and how and if your length and Girth ever returned. My capsule was removed because it was infected with biofilm and it appears Elist took some of my original Girth with him! I'm Hanging in there and messageman has answered my questions but I want to hear more from the others implant veterans

I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear about this. That man should lose his license to practice. There are some guys on here who have had the implant removed. I really hope they can chime in here.

If you only got it removed a few days ago you are going to have retraction from the trauma. It is just the body's natural reaction. As soon as is safely possible, I would begin stretching and/or pumping (very, very gently). You will want to help lessen the chance for any scar tissue that may form to do so when you are in a retracted state.

Did you speak to Elist about this? If so, what did he tell you to do or expect? It's not that I put much value in his opinion, I am just curious about his reaction.

Your sexual prime will last well into your 40's if you take care of yourself - not kidding. Just to reiterate what has already been said on here - you haven't lost length, the fact that your penis is retracted after such a traumatic procedure is normal and it can last up to 3 months. All of your Dick is still there, it is just hiding from the Dr. It will relax as you heal and come back, and stretching is good when you are ready. It took me a month of stretching and it all came back, but I waited for 6 weeks so I could heal. The same is true of your Girth. You may even come back a little thicker as there is a scar tissue / capsule that forms around the implant. I gained about .5" in Girth when my grafts were taken out after almost 20 years and I think the principle is the same. Very sorry you are going through this - but what your Dick looks like today is by no means the end of the story.

So I am one of Dr Elists patients and I just had the surgery done about a week ago. My penis went from 6.5 to about 3.5 after the surgery!! is this normal???? Dr Elist says my Erect length will go back in about a month or 2 but I am terrified that it may not

So far, we have not seen any one who had luck with this implant. Long term or short term. I think there is ONE person who still has it today but not sure of his status.

My own opinion having gone thru it: Remove it ASAP to minimize the damage that this defunct implant causes. The longer it is kept on the penis shaft, it will cause the following: more scar tissue, curvature (Pyronie's disease), loss of sensation, loss of Erect length, Erectile Dysfunction and constant pain near the glans where the silicone implant is stitched to the penile shaft.

I am not trying to scare you guys who have the implant, but all the above has happened to many ex elist victims.

I wish there was something that could be done to keep this "doctor" from claiming more victims.
His pride, ego and bank account seem to be far more important than the well being of the men who turn to him for help.

Unfortunately for me I can't sue him, it's been too long. But if there were to be a class action case then it is possible that the victims may have a case against his butchery practices. I have said it many times, I am willing to participate in any way possible. I am even thinking of some kind of a documentary type interview/show...I plan to do this in the future when I am mentally ready.

I had it removed a week ago by Dr Alter in Beverly Hills, He is the best.

Unfortunately he's not cheap, He's taken several Elist's implants out.

Mine is probably the most recent and he is very meticulous not to cause nerve damge

I've since regain some of my length, altough He says I'm going to need stretching for a long

time.I might not recover my 2.5 inches lost, and I almost lost my fiancee to this bs.

I called an attorney in LA and we had a long discussion over the phone, and it's very

expensive to place a lawsuit and it may not go far, The best way to get this MF Elist is by

Denouncing him to the California Medical Board. I urge to do this ASAP Go to the website

They have an electronic complaint form, fill out the complaint, then down load the forms on

the site, you need to signed th authorization to release medical information, scan it and up

load it to the site and then submit the form, The more of us that do it the sooner, this piece

of shit Elist will go down. That's my approach I'm sure there are guys here that won't be

content with that, he mght just get probation and a penalty, but We will do a good deed

for our fellow Men stopping them from making the same mistake, We need to put Elist

Out of buisness.

One last thing, I hope you go with somepone like Dr Alter he's very good, posssibly the best

at removing this implant,but if you have no choice but going back to Elist for Removal, be

sure he does it at the surgry center under anesthesia, if he does it in the office he'll hurt

you bad,( there are some horror stories here) and you'll have a high risk of infection., Also

read about the Stockholme syndrome.

Where the person develops rapport with their captors.., that would totally suck , but it can

happen, when a person has his scalpel on your Dick. I saw him suture me drain wound

after Removal and it was very disappoining he shakes a lot has no skill whatsoever

I work in the medical field believe me, I'm no surgeon but can suture better than he.

Doctor James Elist, While at his office for an orchyopexy, lured me into having a penile implant for penis lengthening and girth enlargement,which was unwanted and unnecessary to begin with from my view point,and my fiancee's as well. A questionaire of whether or not I was happy and satisfied with my penis size was given to me, and I answered I was satisfied with my penis size and girth and function and so was my fiancee, nevertheless he continued to sell me his implant, I told him that although I was satisfied and happy with my penis size and never had a performance problem, I was curious about a possible increase in length, he "sold me his implant as free of consequences and that I would definitely , and absolutely would have an increase in my penile length,(nothing could be further from the truth) I believed him, as He told me it was free of complications, and he operated on me, the result was a shortening of penis, painful sexual intercourse,and deformity with injury to urethra causing dilation and difficulty in urinating and ejaculation. I was adviced by an excellent Urologist ( a good Urologist, with high ethical standards) to remove it immediately,to avoid further deformity, possible erosion of implant through the skin and further shortening and infection as well as continued pain,and so I did. The soonest I could schedule removal 2 months had passed, the final result to my dismay is shortnening of the penis, continued difficulty in urinationg and ejaculation and deformity,, I want to denounce this unethical physician James Elist, in order to stop him from injuring any more uninformed men, which there are many, to stop this monster from continuing with his false advertising, and injury to multiple men, I am myself a physician and I've always been a patient advocate and practice to the highest standard, it is repugnant to me that unethical physicians such as Dr James Elist continue to practice and perform injuries to unaware citizens , I hope by this means to stop this monster. Hello all and thank you for your support

It has been 12 days post implant Removal and my erections are still very painful. My ligaments are rock solid and seem to have captivated my penis and stops it from stretching or moving out of my body. My flacid length right now 2.5" and Erect length is 3.5".

Did any of you also experience very painful erections this far after Removal? Was the base of your penis also hard and felt like there are new extra "ligaments" holding your penis back? I'm contemplating dr rosenthals lengthening lig cut and hoping that he will remove scar tissue during the procedure and cut any of the extra "ligaments" that are holding back my length. I'm a broke college student so I don't think I can afford dr alter's help at the moment but if I scrimp every penny I have, I think I can pull together $4500 for dr rosenthal and at least be able to start having sex again.

I'm trying to avoid the psychological damage as much as possible And I'm trying to hang in there but I fear that this whole experience is developing a destructive obsession that will waste allot of time and opportunities for happiness in my life.

If your comfortable could you show a picture. I am very interested in your story. I have had any implants but I believe my Erect length is similar to yours.

CVBBC, first-off, consider yourself a lucky one. You experimented with this, and learned the hard way how dangerous it is. Now, you should know not to mess with this stuff again. Just don't do it - it's not worth the risk. More importantly though, you will recover fully from this. The penis is a resillient organ. As others have said, you haven't lost length, it's just traumatized and shrinking back as a defense mechanism. Here's what you must do - FIRST--HEAL. You will have to wait for you penis to heal from the trauma. I don't know when that will be - but I think a month from a traumatic event is a reasonable average time. You may have some internal scar tissue causing the loss in length, but a couple months of stretching will bring you right back. New scar tissue is the easiest to heal, and the stretching will do that. All the docs agree on this. I think the best stretching for this is a light all-day stretcher. That doesn't mean you wear it all day, but you can wear it for a few hours per day. Get the 1-lb grip from the Grip supplier. When I got it 5 years ago, it looked like a black rubber sheath, with a 1-lb slug. It fit nicely on the penis, with some elastic wrap. Start with an hour per day, and progress to longer amounts, but I would suggest not wearing it for more than 2 hours straight- so you can check on it to make sure all is okay. You will be fine. Stay calm take a deep breath, and you will get over this. Another important thing - don't do any more surgery. The foreign material is out, you will be fine.
