Re: shadow45 PMMA
11 years 4 months ago #1286583831I'm on the fence really. To be honest I don't really NEED chem PE and everything has been quite a hassle so far. I'm tempted to go in and just learn what I can... One thing I can see happening though is them forgetting that I was rescheduled. We'll see, If I do go I'll report about it.
I second what Shadow said about our medical "coverage" ... odds are the consultations are labelled something like "Sexual health check up" or even just "general physical"... that way Dr. A can bill the government for the consultation, any further procedure though would be out of pocket as our healthcare is quite strict about not covering anything considered elective or cosmetic. (aside from breast reductions where it is deemed necessary for health).
Edit: Women cant even claim Breast Augmentation as a "medical expense" on their taxes... my ex-fiance got nailed with $1200 back-taxes due to trying to claim it and getting caught hahaha

In other news, I am feeling a lot better physically, and actually look forward to the prospect of chem pe as a healthy alternative to PMMA. Spring is nearing and I used to do a lot of cycling, but have done none the past 2 years. Plan to renew that aspect of my life this year. I should be able to shed the fat before my appointment date, which will be a big boost in confidence when presenting myself at their doors.

Not sure about that. I'm not sure what's up with their website but they only ran trials on glans, and last I chatted with Wade a while back, they weren't thrilled about the results they saw. That doesn't mean they wont offer it, but I'm not sure they are terribly devoted to the idea of bringing it on board with whatever else their offering.
Not sure if it was an issue of technique or of product (i.e. product Dr. Cho uses isn't available in Mexico), but I can say from direct contact with one person who underwent glans trials that it wasn't worth writing home about. That may be because the product was temporary (my memory may be failing me, but I think it was Radiesse), but regardless, you may see more interest in Chemical PE or botox for testicular relaxation than you will glans-enhancement from their clinic... well that's the impression I got last I chatted with Wade, and it's been a while so things may have changed. Others will need to chime in to correct any assertions I've made.

Re: shadow45 PMMA
11 years 4 months ago #1286585907regardless, I am WAY more interested in the Chem pe aspect, and they seem to be getting the ball rolling (timm97 made a good post in the chem pe thread on what wade said in regards to it), even if it is only early stages.

Re: shadow45 PMMA
11 years 4 months ago #1286596488Avanti Derma understands that a lack of glans enhancement has caused many of their patients to become "out of proportion" (shaft Girth proportionate to glans Girth), so there is motivation to provide some options for glans enhancements. H Acid is only temporary (6 months?), but has decent results for the short duration.
Like tom kat- I'm particularly interested in chem pe options going forward. For now, I have the time, resources and desire for some Girth gains (to help severe Turtling)-- to which PMMA is an attractive option I'm choosing now. Then Chem pe down the road (when it's perfected and offered in places outside Canada) for length and EQ quality enhancements as I age.

However, they are still looking at options and techniques to do in Mexico regarding the glans. That "a part" of what Dr. Cho does isn't allowed in most countries, but that Dextran approval is a matter of time. They do not know the duration of a Dextran filler (how long it would last - or how 'permanent'). Mexico is waiting for results from side effect studies in either Germany or Brazil.

That chem PE thing sounds like a dream come true. If I could get anywhere near Honzee's results in both the chem PE and the PMMA I could die happy!
