But fraud is fraud. If he's posting fake positive reviews, and that induces people to sign up with him, I don't think disclaimers and waivers signed at the time of operation would mitigate liability for false representations. I'm not a member of the plaintiffs' bar, nor have I closely followed the stories of what is alleged against Dr. Elist, and so I have no opinion on whether there is merit to the allegations, but I'd be interested to hear more from those who think they were wronged but also think that there are no options for legal recourse. It's even more remarkable considering the fact that you are indeed a former patient. I haven't seen the details of your reviews, but a word of advice (just in case this is playing a role in the review submission): any section of a review requiring a written/typed description ought to refrain from lending itself to negative connotation or coming off as too personal, but instead should be straight forward and objective. I'm sure you all know this but I choose to reiterate it for those patients who might submit a review with more expletives than non-expletives.. But if not even the most civil, respectful, and objective "negative review" gets accepted, then something really suspicious is up! I can't see how the doctor would have any sway or influence on that site, unless the site itself is corrupted... can we trust no one?!?
