13 years 5 months ago #1276918185Your penis looks similar to mine, I have a mild peyronie to the left, and what I have noticed that I have during Erection the new collagen on the Lt. side is not as smooth (irregular and rough) compared with the Rt. side. So to me it looks like the reason for the roughness and the irregularities of the new collagen formation will be more on the side of peyronie's disease ; so could it be due to the anatomy of the penis ??
Hi Hoddle,
Sorry for the delay, FBGs can happen anywhere in the body and either with deep or superficial injections, but as we know our immune system is more active in the skin e.g. Dermis than in the deep area e.g. the subcutaneous spaces and thats why the chances of FBGs, redness and mild pain are higher if the doctor injected the PMMA more superficial e.g. into the skin.
In the penis as we know you can easily pinch and lift the skin shaft from the deep layers and with a blunt cannula you can easily enter the subcutaneous space (without injecting PMMA into the skin (dermis)) , in the other hand the skin in the face is much tighter and more adherent to the subcutaneous tissues e.g. the Naso-Labial fold or the Glabella and some doctors use a sharp needle in these areas and the aim of the injection here is only to correct these folds and wrinkles and for more volume gain like in the penis, so the injection here is much more superficial i.e. more immune reaction.
In regard of the (4 pictures) in the blog above (penile metacrill bioplasty); as you know I had 30% Metacrill injection in my penis >4 yrs (since Oct.2008), so I am 100% sure this guy has multiple big lumps around 4 big lumps (and not as a general swelling) of new collagen due to clumping of the PMMA (poor technique or bad early post-injection instructions); I will try to explain it much more :-
if you check the 1st pic. you can see the skin color is much whiter or paler over the 2 swellings (lumps) on the Rt. side of his penis and in between them the skin color is darker (due to less collagen) (as we know the skin blanches (become whiter) in response to gentle pressure) so IMO a diffuse swelling (e.g. due to a fluid) the penis will look like a balloon filled with a fluid with almost the same color of skin all over the shaft but in this case the firmer lumps of harder collagen causing a gentle pressure on the small vessels in the skin shaft from underneath -->much whiter "blanching". If you check also the 2nd pic. Erect you can see the color difference on the Lt. side (and in this pic. i.e. "Erect" it proves there is no diffuse swelling where you can see 2 lumps with white color over them on each side behind the neck of the penis and they are separated from each other with a darker color skin and also also from the rest of the shaft ) , and in the 4th pic.(the undersurface of the penis) you can see clear 4 big areas 2 on each side where the skin is whiter and there are darker color of the skin in between. So this guy has to me 4 big lumps (whiter color) 2 in each side and darker skin color in between them (i.e. similar to this shape +) . It looks to me his doctor injected the PMMA mainly in 4 areas of the penile shaft (i.e. divided the penis into 4 quadrants).

My own opinion is to have 20% for now and see how it goes. I have a lot more bumps from 30% that I can feel with my hands but it is not really visible to the eye. My present lady has not said anything negative about it and she enjoys it a lot.
Let us know how it goes of course!!!!
