I haven't, although I have heard about topical creams and sprays that help, and I know the company "Hims" and a few others have oral pills, but to the extent they work I am not personally familiar with -- would love for others to chime in on it. I've had intermittent issues with premature ejaculation in the past, and my short-term remedy (which I am not recommending others resort to) is catching a quick buzz from a few cocktails. The key is that you don't want to get drunk (and therefore behave sloppily), nor do you want to get your partner so drunk that blur the lines of consensual engagement -- just a Happy Hour's worth of time like 2-3 cocktails maximum (depending on your tolerance) -- I find this to be a short-term remedy that helps extend me longer than usual. That said, I would like to avoid resorting to this because alcohol is just not a healthy means to resort to for any reason, but fortunately the prevalence of social drinking has allowed me an "out" when the pressure (e.g. performance anxiety) was on, but for some people this may not be ideal. This is why I would be interested in hearing more about success stories with pills, sprays, and/or creams. I've tried Sertraline which is an SSRI. It takes about 4 hours to be effective. But I wouldn't recommend it. It has side effects like diarrhea and the delay was maybe 5 minutes. I believe most SSRI's have that side effect. I bought the delay spray that works but it's expensive. Promescent Desensitizing Delay Spray just two sprays on the head and under shaft work. Condoms with benzocaine or lidocaine are the most effective. Just make sure to thoroughly clean yourself after using one if you plan on getting oral afterwards. Trojan extended pleasure for me worked best. It kind of makes you last too long- just wash up afterwards as you dont want to desensitize your partner's mouth or other places. RE Lidocaine and the condoms mentioned - you should be able to find a spray that is not overpriced - even KY makes one! And for the condoms, if you are planning to not use a condom, the lubricant from those is essentially the same as they spray...regardless, if using lidocaine or similar desensitizer, I'd advise you let it sit for a few minutes and dry before intercourse, or you can desensitize your partner! For one, stop watching porn. You jack off because you want to release, so you’re not holding back on the tension. I used to have this issue. I began edging, using the rope exercise. You basically achieve full Erection, pace yourself with a steady motion, and the minute you feel climax, stop and control your breathing. Focus less on the sensation. Keep doing this for as long as possible. Also, do this on the off days you expect or anticipate having sex. Otherwise you’ll just pop. Eventually, you’ll have to release it.
