I was discussing this with a friend recently. It's too cumbersome the preventative measures for cunnilingus, so I think the best thing to do is just go ahead and enjoy giving oral and use throat scanning tests. For instance, endoscopy not only look at your intestines, they can also check for any tissue abrasions and abnormalities in your throat. As a man over 40, I do a routine endoscopy every 3 years. This is definitely aggressive testing, however, it's a sure-fire way to stay on top of any issues.
