You want permanent hair Removal? Than only electrolysis will work. Laser is only for reduction as mentioned before. I visited some hair Removal forums, disregarded the advice of the old hands there, spent $1.5k on laser treatments only to have the growing back eventually. I switched to electrolysis and now I am 905 hair free down there and only fine hairs remain. All the original corse, curly hairs are 99.9% gone. And yes it hurts like a bitch sometimes, but the skill of the probationer can reduce the discomfort by 25%, 30%.

i BEG to differ and would seek a second opinion and would search out someone using a sciton, electrolysis takes such a long time for each individual hair. you can laser the Cock and Balls in 20 minutes.
i do not normally do this but here is a photo of my under arms next to my face so u can c the difference. i have not shaved my under arms in 5 years, the last time i lasered them was 4 years ago.....

After my web resection, hair grows up my shaft (or should I say down) almost all the way to the circ scar. I shave it off when it gets too shabby. I'd like a more permanent tx. and never thought of laser. I'll look into it. Is it expensive? I'd be pretty shy about my little one getting this done while Flaccid. Maybe I should wait until after PMMA.

I've had electrolysis and laser hair Removal
I found laser hair Removal to be far superior, I've spent '7000 on it in my life, I've had it at several different clinics, what matters most is what machine they use.
I'm convinced the best is the Lumenis' High Speed LightSheer duet. Extremely powerful and efficient, I had extremely impressive results from this from a small amount of sessions.

There are many things for which us men can get obssessed. I have hair up to about 4" and is great shit when I use my Dick - cuts to tight pussies and a few days after shaving, the stubble is abrasive and can cause bruising to the poor partner. So? I shave fairly frequently (with a Gillette Fusion) and try to do so always before an encounter.

I am too apprehensive to risk any more "procedures" to my "one and all" apart from injecting ...

hey there restoration,
hair laser targets pigment in the hair, then goes into the follicle and kills or disables it, the darker the hair the better the result.
the guidelines we use are based off the Fitzpatrick scale for skin coloring.
the darker the skin, the less joules we use, we can lower frequency or up it as well, the lighter the skin enables us to bump it up a little.
of course one must do a test to see how the skin and hair responds. that being said the best results we see are with fair skinned people with black hair, so the laser targets the hair and not the skin.
so to answer your question about my results,
well i am very dark skinned and especially down under, so i must use caution when working on myself. i like to use the passive technique low and slow. the hairs responded great to the procedure, i have literally none left except for very fine hairs on my sack, which i am working on.
here comes the good stuff, my junk is very sensitive to the laser( yowch!) (i have burned myself a couple of times, nothing that does not go away, takes a few weeks) but wow can i feel it, some people have a high pain tolerance and i feel i am one of those people but it still hurts like a mother.
the follicles r raised around the shaft and pubic area for a few days but no big deal, the scrotum is very difficult because it's hard to stretch it out and get a flat surface to glide over( the knuts get in the way).
yes, very sensitive, even w/ the BLT.
hope this helps, if u wonder what it feels like have your under arm hair done, it's not the same but closer to the feel than your back.

I did 50 minutes worth, so it wasn't bad. I didn't to the Balls, just the area where it will be cut for the scrotoplasty. Then, we did the shaft. There's definitely more hair to go but we'll wait until Post-op so it'll be easier to know exactly where to do it. It'll probably be 5+ hours in the end (spread across a few visits). I think that will be $400 which is nothing really, but just a lot of time. It looks WAY better already, but the irony is having less hair there means more visible scars (even though my scars aren't that bad).

I talked to 2 laser people. Neither one wanted to do it, and they have done other areas on me (one alexandrite person and one lightsheer person). Also, I have sensitive skin and once tried to laser the base of my neck where I get razor burns ... and i was red / burned for 2 months (with ingrowns and pustules). So, in the end, I also didn't want to risk it with the penis (aside from nobody agreeing to do it here).

It has come way down in price - and I would not be shy. I am sure you are not in the first 10,000 guys that have had it done. It was all pretty clinical - there are even places that advertise for men. Personally I might have it done before - who knows how a laser that close to your skin is going to react to PMMA - probably not all, but just in case.

be careful. there is a doctor in Italy who utilizes lasers for removing PMMA. He has used them to melt the beads and remove the filler in women who originally had failed PMMA buttock augmentations.

I had electrolysis and it was pretty uneventful. Barely any pain (I used EMLA). I'm not even red. It was cheap too, considering everything else. The only downside would be ingrown hairs, so I gotta just be careful with the washing and "gentle exfoliation". I think once this is ALL done - with the webbing "relocation" and a few Nodule removals, it will look somewhat back to normal.

there is no such thing as permanent hair removal, only permanent hair reduction.
now there are variances of that, i have had my whole body lasered and can tell u that yes it works. that being said the hair on my back and neck is the most difficult spots to reduce, due to the hormone receptors located there.
it's true what hunky-dory said there are phases that make the hair follicle receptive to being killed so multi treatments r key.
the naughty bits r very receptive and i have not had any hair down there for 5 years, although a few do grow back here and there and one must go back and give them another zap for up keep.

I talked w/ my laser person & she said guys have hated having their penis / Balls done. Plus, the skin takes unusually long to heal. She said it would be better to do electrolysis. I think given everything I dealt with, I'll find an electrologist. A lot of the ones who do transgender people are used to this anyway.

As mentioned before laser works best on dark (back) hard and light skin. I will also add that the shallower the hair is under the skin the better.

No it was a long time ago when it was super expensive - there was some woman doing it out of the Chelsea hotel cheap. I would check realself for reviews of lasers. It worked perfectly for me - except for the fact that she burned my Balls in a few spots. After the lig. cut I ended up with an Inch of har or more growing up my shaft - it was gross and shaving always itched or left bumps.

I think it was something like 3 weeks apart maybe? - the reason for the spacing is that some hairs are in a growth phase on your body and some are not on any given day. The laser only kills the ones in a growth phase - so you have to keep on going back until you get them all in the growth phase - at least that is what was explained to me.
