TOPIC: Anyone with temporary fillers injected into the glans?

My injections were only done last week so I can't comment on longevity.

I've experienced no side effects so far and It was painless. No specific aftercare was needed. I just kept it clean and dry. As far as I'm aware there is practically no downtime at all, but I would abstain from aggressive manipulation for at least a few days.

It's irrelevant whether it's temporary or not. There is a reason experienced Dr's inject HA in the shaft via a cannula. When you consider they still take that precaution when they are able to make skin "tent", it should say something about injecting into the glans.

Blocking the vascular supply is just as likely with HA as with any filler. With a sharp needle you can injure the vessel, compress or block it with filler. It's harder to tell if you've done damage in the glans than in the face.

I'm not or never have been planning glans enlargement, but the only reason I comment on discussions about it is to make people aware that it's risky and not worth it for the small gains we've observed. We've only had about 5 or 6 guys report glans enhancement and as you know 2 have turned necrotic. It wasn't to do with permanency of the filler, but I do believe they were HA based fillers on both occasions.

I'm not saying it's a big risk, but just that it's not a risk worth taking. The guys who did have Necrosis didn't seem to gain much anyway.

LIPEN? You got to be nutts. Use the HA, an you are lucky that you still have a Dick brother. The Necrosis is cas lipens too thick and bad injection technique. Sorry to hear this. Glans penis aug is a shitty idea I had it once.

If I am not mistaken, there was a member who applied PRP shot into the glands, but I don't remember who and the outcome.

You guys, this is a great thread! My glans looks so tiny compared to the rest of the shaft now after having rd.1 a month ago. I'm curious about HA glans enhancement, but it's a very low priority for now with the limited info on it and apparent risk. I researched the hell out of PMMA before I chose to do it, and I'm happy with the results. Artic, your glans looks great. Is that Flaccid or chubbed a little? Did you take a before picture to compare? For all I know, it could have looked almost the same to me before HA, so to be able to see the difference would be awesome.

That article tells me that by using the HA in the glans, sensitivity is decreased and it was used in those cases as a premature ejaculation cure. My problem is that it's hard for me to cum, so this may not be for me, although I would love to have a bigger glans.

What I was trying to say in post above is that its about the technique of the injection, not cannula or not. I heard all this from Dr K. He pushes needle in without pressing down to push out HA,,, then he injects as pulling back, so no blockage. The substance is 20% of the risk (thicker Lipen is higher risk). The 80% is in the technique.

Agree with hoddle10. Due to the thin skin and complex, spongelike vasculature of the glans, I do not advocate glans augmentation. IMHO, it is too risky.

I've had a few cc of Macrolane HA injected in the corona of my glans. The gains are subtle and I probably won't shell out money specifically for it. My treatment was part of an overall package.
