Those were non absorbing stitches and the ones by the glans were dissolving. He sewed it in a way that the glans stitches were one long connecting thread around the head, and the doctor I went to in NYC did not know how to take it out, or so he said. My current size is 7 x 5.25 - which is not bad, but nothing to the 7.25 x 7 I had, lol. With regards to the pic request, he was just really into me and was only 24 and horny. He was really aggressive about hitting on me so I went out on a date with him - it is usually me doing all the work so I thought why not. It also made me realize that I would rather date someone my own age - for most of my life my sex life has felt like it was scripted from porn and I am sort of over that, even though I had a lot of fun. I still have some hyper-pigmentation so it will be hard to tell how noticeable anything is in the end until that goes as the suture areas did not darken. I should post a pic on my thread as it looks pretty damn normal considering what it looked like before. I took vit. C, biotin and antibiotic on the suture area. When it was healed I used (use) the Tamanu oil on it soften the scar tissue. I had raised skin at first and it felt though(ish) all around the glans area from the scarring- it is all normal now - probably time, but the oil is very good for scars. I also got a hand-job the other day and he didn't seem at all put off by my Dick and it's minor scarring, it is definitely more me. I think a few more experiences and it won't be an issue for me either. It is more about getting used to my new size that throws me. I got very used to a 7" Girth (my starting size before any PE was probably about 6 x 4.5 - and I remember the male nurse asking me why I was doing this as there was nothing wrong with my size the morning of the procedure. This was almost pre-internet and definitely pre support groups like this so I had no idea what normal was. I am sure you will be fine - you haver never had a long stretch of healing time even though this has gone on since March. Take the vitamins and use the bacitracin, and use the oil to jerk off with when the wound is closed and then let time do it's thing - remember it's only about 1% of your body mass - even if it is a very important 1%. I also suffered for years but finally got the help through counseling. You are probably suffering from depression and that is a normal reaction to very difficult circumstances. Any healthy person would react that way, but it is still a good idea to reach out for help to a therapist or even just a close friend. Regarding the latest procedure, I am sure this will take time to heal. I would resist the urge to set the expectation it has to be completely resolved on a certain date as this will just add pressure and more stress you don't need. And please stop beating yourself up. You did the best you could with info you had at the time. It is great to hear you have a top Urologist who is eager to help. That is what important right now. Remember though this is not cancer or some other horrible affliction that will render you permanently disfigured or impotent. YOU WILL RECOVER. You made it through peyronies surgery which is much higher risk and you will get through this. I would suggest seeing a counselor while in recovery, but if nothing else find new activities to relieve your mental unrest. I know in my case volunteer work helped tremendously as it took the focus of off myself and put it on others. When I made this shift my body healed and my physical pain was eventually permanently removed. best wishes R. nice comments mustang. I had no idea you lost so much skin - I knew you had a long bad FG story. My thumb is roughly 1" - so in the pic on the left, I'd estimate he took about 1". How long did it take to get your Erection straight? Mine curves to the right because it's longer on the left (I'm not sure if you lost skin more symmetrically - or if you had this issue). Did you do anything special to get it to stretch back? My doc thought that I wouldn't have a curve because the tunica is responsible for the curve, not the skin... but he did say something briefly about skin expanders. Then, he just kind of dropped the subject and said something else. I think what I meant by "vertical scar" was probably not worded well. I was trying to say he pinched the skin up like this shape __||__ and sutured the || area rather than when you get a little mole taken out or something and they just do _~_ Sutures (also what my derm did for the initial incision that wouldn't close). This "vertical" ridge is just what I saw right immediately post op...and it looked pretty rough. It looks better now, even 48h post. He wanted to try his best to ensure no wound separation...and now I need to treat this thing like a Faberge egg until the first 1-2 months where closure happens. I've seen women's tummy tucks come open on day 20 on RealSelf... at least I have buried Monocryl Sutures (though I think they do too)...which lose 1/2 strength at 1 week and then dissapear at 3 months. After round 2 everything was perfect. Then after round 3 I just had a bunch of nodules... then an excision that went horribly & never closed. Then, that excision was burned with a caustic chemical by a "wound care specialist" who ruined any chance it would heal. I just had about a square Inch of skin (and underlying PMMA) removed from my penis this morning...and I just feel like shit. The Sutures he put in made my skin stand straight up (he wants to ENSURE the edges come together). This Urologist is nationally known for men's health issues...on par with Alter & actually his friend / colleague. He did my peyronie's 2013 surgery successfully without complication. He's also a nice guy - even being "world famous" - no arrogance or anything like that. I asked him how it looked from behind the curtain (i had local anesthesia and they walled off my face from my penis) and he goes "good enough to eat" lol. Anyway, I just feel really shitty today. I did all of this to myself after round 2. ALL OF IT. I had to get above 5" Girth. I had to get the nodules out. I had to get the wound closed. Now I'm missing a chunk of my penile skin and will have a ridge indefinitely on my penis because had to close it vertically. (like this picture - it takes a few seconds to load) I know people here had it worse than me... but what do you guys do? I mean, I used to have sex as entertainment, practically. Now... yeah I know there are other things in life - but i just feel like now I am some kind of neutered dog. What have you guys done to get on with things? How long has it taken to get over it? Hoddle mentioned someone murdered someone after their botched penis surgery. I can understand that, actually... except now I am just exhausted to do that. (I am not planning on murder. I did this mostly to myself. What I posted about Jacob Bloom is sufficient for me to feel validated from being treated like shit.) Was he talking about the skin, the PMMA or something else entirely? I am sort of in the same boat when it comes to dating - maybe a little further down the river than you are actually age-wise, and guys my age don't take care of themselves generally and the ones that do are hooked up. I really miss the my 7x007 - it definitely made for a lot funner sex. A lot of people still think I am packing and I haven't figured out how to handle the situation short of avoiding the encounter all together. I would be game to do something about it but my tolerance for mishaps was used up the last go round. I don't think I have another recovery in me - and I can't tell from this board if PMMA blows up on people down the road in terms of nodules and bumps or if they are all up front, at least occurring shortly after the procedure. It is hard to keep track of whats going on - if someone has an answer to this please chime in. I also can't figure out if I fucked up my grafts by my behavior or if they go bad on their own no matter what you do (which would make me feel better actually). Either way I got a lot of mileage out of it for over a decade, so I get why people do it. p.s. you can stretch just about anything.
