I understand you can get prp every 3 months if you wish,. I have a doc in Virginia area that does it for me@ $1000 each, I do not notice much gland enhancement with this process and thought I might try HA for gland during 2016. However very satisfied with shaft results I had.

I agree with what you are saying. When I met with him he was addressing my hesitation, and said starting small is a great option when you are local and can see how your body responds and then you can fill/add slowly...there is no rush. Without any prior experience, I would tend to agree with this method if money is not an issue.

Personally I think this is an option I would be comfortable with even given the costs. If the filler was strategically placed, you could see a reasonable gain and it woul also minimize the amount of filler injected. It certainly would be expensive but if I were to do penile surgery, I wouldn't consider finances. Safety is my only concern. Dr. Greenwald uses Radiesse and he places the material only on the upper sides of the penis. You may not be able to build up the base but you do minimize the amount of filler used.

My only concern is the collagen, but given the smaller amounts of the filler used, I wonder if this would help. Skeptical One, what are you thoughts about the collagen filler? Do you think it would move around? Please elaborate. I also wonder what the doc's experience with this is.

I finally decided to try it and went to Dr Mirza on Thursday and he injected 2cc of Belotero. As I was nervous and live in NYC he said let's start slow. It's two days later and I could not be happier. It is a slight gain in thickness but so noticeable to me. There are no lumps and feels fantastic. He said if I like it to come back in two weeks-I think I will go back next week for more. Very happy.

Giddyyupjoe is there a way I can do it often as possible? For example can I do it every week or possibly every other week if i have the money?

I suspect the small volume being offered is due to the costs. And while Artefill is reputed to be a quality product, it's probably least ideal for penile application (i.e. large volume). Totally different type of carrier used and that would mean even more aesthetic uncertainty, at least in theory.

Doctors have access to Artefill, PMMA has been available FDA-approved (for all that's worth) for some time. It's just been a combination of cost & carrier that made it completely impractical in penile applications.

Is belotero like PMMA or does it absorb like Bellafill?

Went today and had 2cc's added and I cannot believe I did not do this sooner. A little bumpy right now but it's just like it was last week. He talked about the shot for glandular enhancement but that would have to be at his office on Madison Ave. that is where he can spin the blood. I will do that when I have the last 2cc's added.
