Good to know. The Sutures dissolve / fall out on their own - and then they check you 2 weeks post op. I think they would be out by 10 days or so. I had the "train track" thing on my back when a mole was removed & it faded after 2-3 years, so I'd hate to have that on my Dick...I'm not sure what causes / prevents that. Pressure? Bad luck? Mederma never did anything, but silicone sheets seem to have some positive reviews - though it'll be hard to keep on there. It's a bit of a catch-22 because they are necessary to prevent retraction and size loss post op (from Peyronies Repair, not lig cut or implant - but I figured people here have been through similar). Train track scar happen from scar tissue forming around Sutures, so the sooner you get them out, the less chances of this type of scarring. Make sure they Sutures have done their job though, don't be tempted to remove them to soon. Silicone sheets are excellent, but not really practical for a circ scar or even needed. Just apply some tape to the scar. Some people think the pressure from tape is as effective as the gel sheets in keeping scars flat. It's likely your scar will be slightly red and raised for a few months anyway. It's incredibly rare to scar badly there. The only issue is a train track scar and silicone gel wont really help with that. The best thing is to remove the Sutures as soon as they have done their job, usually at around 10 days. Erections are fine, but might be painful, so you'll try and get them to go down by jumping out of bed and walking around etc. It's basically a Circumcision scar and everyday thousands of men around the world have the same incision.
