TOPIC: Losing length after PMMA?

In case a seasoned vet does not answer... I have read every post re PMMA.

There have been a few people that lost 1/4" initially, but it came back in time.

I still don't understand the science behind the loss of length.I might speak to dr.C about it.Im only a little over 5 inches EL (pretty much gained nothing since Jelqing,stretching, extender,light Hanging for 9 months). I think i've even lost some length lol.

Although I haven't measured (I'm afraid to measure anything until I'm completely retired from PE, this is just a psychological defense mechanism against dysmorphic thoughts... measurements reinforce some irrational need to reach an arbitrary number created by deluded Girth enthusiasts from long ago on the internet PE scene), I suspect I have lost a little bit of Erect length, but with each passing procedure it was plainly obvious as to why - the sheer expansion in Girth appeared to tug up on the skin, giving it a shorter appearance, at least that is what it seems like for me. I'm not alarmed, however, since I can see why this is happening and I feel that I can (& will) recover most (if not all) of this length when I start my stretching regimen. This will be soon now that I have acquired a new stretching device

Yeah, thats the extender I use. I have the VacExtender version 4, which comes with the similar top as you showed in pic. The big difference is that it comes with a hose mechanism which allows you to suck out excess air and create the vacuum seal, its very easy to use and works great.

Noose extender shouldn't affect entry points, as typically entry points are at the base of your shaft unless you got more than two. I still recommend upgrading to a vacuum head extender for safety.

Yes I'll be using an extender also.i have a noose style extender is this going to affect the entry points,the pressure on them as they heal?this is my concern and yes it seems logical to use something to keep it extended as attempting to get an Erection constantly for that long a period will be too difficult.how did others go with keeping it in an extended state?did this assist with lack of length loss?

I am about one month post op PMMA and have lost apprx .5 Inch to Erect length. started pumping and seeing some promise of return.

I think it has to do with the PMMA setting shortly after it is injected. That is why you have to keep massaging and stay Erect after the procedure. That is also why your Flaccid is longer after the procedure. Think of the PMMA becoming slightly more rigid as it sets. If you are hard when its sets then the PMMA will be an implant that is almost as long as your Erect penis (base to circ scar). If you let it set when you are soft then the implant will only be as long as your Flaccid with PMMA in it. If you are soft as the PMMA sets then your penis will not be strong enough to stretch out the PMMA when you get Erect. You haven't lost length but your penis cannot stretch out the PMMA...so the penis cannot fully expand. I suspect that guys who think they have a lost length might have some discomfort if the implant is preventing a complete Erection.

I can't figure out if Hanging or stretching works after PMMA. It seems to me it will only work if the weight is heavy enough to stretch the PMMA implant. If you can stretch the PMMA implant then you should be able to get modest permanent length gains. The PMMA implant will prevent your penis from retracting. If you can't stretch the implant then guys who gain a little length from stretching must have a gap at the base or at the circ scar where there is no PMMA anymore. In other words, if you have a 5 Inch penis with a 5 Inch PMMA implant inside and then you stretch so that you have a 6 Inch penis, my question is does the PMMA stretch to become a 6 Inch implant or do you now have a 6 Inch penis with a 5 Inch implant.

I lost about .25" of Erect length after my 3rd PMMA session. So far, 4 months later, I have not regained it yet.

FYI, after my first and second PMMA sessions I did not loose any length...

I will report .25-.5 Inch loss to this thread. I haven't tried stretching but will and report back.

I lost .5 inches after my first round. To be expected I think with the major increase in Girth. A bit of stretching and Hanging and I got it right back. Don't worry about it. Get an ADS, one that will accommodate your new Girth, and once you're healed from the PMMA, start stretching and your length will come right back.

The PMMA is encapsulated in collagen so when I get it done I am using a penis extender.

Wait for the skin to catch up boys. You'll be fine.

I think it has to do with the new collagen contracting as it matures + it's connected penis and skin. I am guessing using an extender while healing would be good? Maybe even for afew months cause I know collagen goes through different stages maturation
