What do you think Dan Salas is going to do for you?

I hope to get the retraction issue fixed & gain some length - & get bella derm graft as secondary for widening.

Anyone used Dr. Colin Moore?

i've got a referal to a plastic surgion that I've got to take up- with the Kenalog injections being one of the issues to discuss


I had a micro penis & would now be nearly 2"- I was told by Dr moore that I had a streched length of 11cm post surgery- I had retracted to 5.5cm at my 3 month post op check up

Width wise I'm 3.5"- having probably been less than a 2" pre surgery. would there be any thing that could make me wider?- PMMA??- Is it safe?


What's your take on Kenalog? does it just make you penis fall out from in side you?- You do it yourself right?... it'd hurt?

I saw both Dr caminar & Dr bartouti- they both wern't sure weather the ligament was cut.

I used Dr Moore last year- absolutey cost me a bomb... dermal fat graft seems good- but lengthening was a complete waste of time- Save your money & go to the states- I'm planning to use the services of Dan Salis next time I go for revisionary work... any suggestions??

If you're traveling from the other side of the planet, I can see why it would be useful to have someone to provide transportation, offer additional services like assisting in post-op protocol, and hell maybe even delivering food to your hotel. You'll just have to ask yourself if you can do that yourself, or if the convenience is worth the extra cost.

As for the actual procedure, I'd highly recommend relying on multiple resources (not just one specific resource, like Dan) on deciding which procedure you wish to undergo. He is definitely experienced, but as you said yourself, he's also a salesman. I'm sure he means well, but you have to be the informed decision maker here and go with what you feel is the best route for you.

As for his suggestion of having lengthening done under traction, quite frankly I think it's an interesting idea. Even though Dan's previous physician-affiliations have been spotty at best, he's at least seen many of Phalloplasty's errors to have learned what may work more effectively. There is no telling if "lengthening while under traction," will be anymore effective than without, but lengthening is still so experimental that it wouldn't hurt giving it a shot if you are absolutely convinced you wish to do this.

Has anyone actually examined you following your initial surgery? You really need to consult with a plastic surgeon in Oz before even considering flying all the way to Mexico. You may have some scar tissue that might soften or even respond to Kenalog. I can't see how you can arrange a surgery without them examining you.

To give you the best advice we really need to know a bit more about your previous surgery. What were you Flaccid and Erect length and Girth before and after surgery? Did you not gain much from the first graft? I think stacking grafts is a terrible idea and have only heard of it done once before (the infamous Chad Hedman) and the result was horrendous. I'd be surprised if Dr Camacho has ever done that before and if he has it can only be on one or two patients.

Can you do secondary dermal fat grafting?? what's the success rate of that?

Where would you take a graft?- from the butt?- My first was on my tummy & the area is still settling down after nearly 8 months.

What was that about the grafts turning fibrotic??

What about the head- how do p/e doctors expand that... do they lift it off & fan it out?? They surely can only do so much?

I know of three PE surgeons in Australia. Two of them perform FFT and one Dermal Grafts. The guy who does Dermal Grafts is called Colin Moore, is apparently extraordinarily expensive and his work seems to have a poor reputation. The guys who do FTT are called Dr Caminer and Dr Barnouti.

11 cm stretched length post surgery is meaningless, as it will be measured when you are lying down and in the opposite direction to the pubic bone, where the ligs have just been cut. Had it been measured at a 45 degree angle, it would have been less, as the lig cut wouldn't have made any difference.

Retraction usually happens very early on in the process. Did you notice you were retracted in the days after surgery, or did it happen more slowly in the months following. It could well be that the graft contracted, rather than the ligs reattached.

I wouldn't recommend any further surgery for at least a year. Kenalog is a steroid that can soften scar tissue.

Are you still wearing a stretching device?

I have a streching device- the grip, but I havn't noticed a change- the lig feels too well attached.

I noticed retraction in the first 2, 3 weeks-which was a bit depressing. Is graft contraction common-what can be done for that- will Kenalog help?

do you notice results with Kenalog reasonably quickly- after the injections, you need to strech right?
