Fortunately, they had no problem administering the PMMA (in Flaccid state) and I found my Round 1 results very satisfactory. I should note, however, that finding a means to keep the penis elongated in the Flaccid state (post-procedure) would be recommended. The doc's office uses a wrap to keep the shaft from retracting too much, but a stretching device (and/or the use of things like Cialis) after the procedure could prevent the ring effect. I'd tend to conjecture that this issue is more common in growers since the retraction effect may be responsible for allowing some of the PMMA before-the-glans to settle further back into the shaft (thus creating the ring effect). I never actually pursued any means to keep my shaft elongated after the procedure and had a satisfactory shaft appearance. I should note though: the PMMA has not settled well in the area just before the glans, and Wade has said that injection at the "neck" of the penis (presumably around the circum line) is usually an effective method in having the PMMA stay. If I'm not mistaken, they usually prefer using this method only when their initial cannula entry points have not been successful in the past. I think the reason for this is that injecting through the "neck" area can be safe, but trickier and more susceptible to issues (i.e. nodules), presumably because the skin is thinner (??). I'll try to get more clarification on this when I can. What I mean is, if the PMMA is injected directly through the cannula while the penis is Flaccid or the cavernosa is filled with a special fluid to mimic Erection state before injecting PMMA. I am concerened because some people like myself have significant difference between Flaccid and Erect length. My penis some times really shrinks and turtles itself during Flaccid state in a way that does not reflect its true length and I cannot imagine having PMMA injected in such a state while I have a significant Erect length at which I would rather have the PMMA injected, so that when it shrinks back it would hold most of length and not turtle again. I don't knowif I was able to make my point clear here or if any one shares my same concerns. My stretched Flaccid length is shorter than my Erect length. I find that when my glans is engorged, it adds a good 3/16" - .25" in length. Also, after speaking with world famous urologists, they all confirmed that it varies from individual to individual. Stretched Flaccid length is not an exact predictor of Erect length. They should be similar though due to stress on the ligaments. Then with it pulled in this way, Dr. C does the injections. Your stretched flacid penis will be about the same as your Erect penis when it comes to length. Mine is actually slightly more, but I've been hangnig weights. I'm pretty sure that before that my stretched length and Erect length were basically the same.
